USER INTERFACE COMEBACK:

That's right folks, the Peneke dudes missed having awesome features like the Music menu, Authentic Hilts, and network optimization,
so we took the time to add those menus back as their own UI preset in UI Layouts! There's a lot to explain about this UI update,
so we'll talk about the main menu updates first!

The main menu now has a new Mandalorian show themed background, and we removed the character preview so that you can have more room
to view the nice backgrounds featured in the other menus! For nostalgic purposes, we've readded a few old but gold to the Peneke family
menu backgrounds featured in Peneke Pack versions of old. The Kylo Ren cursor has also returned!

Next up to be featured is the Music Menu overhaul! We too missed being able to select whatever music you want during rounds, so we decided
to completely re-do the menus from the ground up, now the music is organized into six tabs; Official for official MB2 map music,
CMP for community map pack music, MGMP for movie game mappack music, uMad for uMad mappack music, Peneke for music that suits
our and hopefully your tastes too, and the Custom music tab! The peneke music easter egg is also featured somewhere in these menus,
so all of our users can have fun finding it again!

How does the custom music feature work? Well this is the ability for you to add your own music to play in-game! To make use of it,
make a new folder in your MBII mod folder named "music" without the quotations. Then add an mp3 or wav file of your choice,
preferrably mp3 format, into the folder, with the name "usertheme#", with # being a number going from 1-50, meaning you can have
up to 50 custom music tracks in-game! The number you put in place of # with 1-50 will be the same number corresponding with the user track option in-game.
It needs to be noted that before doing so, make sure that the mp3 or wav is exported with the project rate at 44100 HZ, exported in Stereo,
that's the minimum requirement for making your music work in MBII.

Our next great UI comeback is the restoration of authentic hilts! This has been added into vanilla MB2 alongside the new class menus,
and the Peneke Jedi/Sith roster has been made compatible with this feature!

The last thing to mention is the optimize button, for all our users with network issues, we have restored the old Peneke network optimization menu,
which we've even done bonus fixes for to make the bounding boxes (the areas that you can click) properly scaled with the options so that you aren't
selecting options from seemingly invisible spaces anymore.

I can't stress this enough, make sure to remove older versions of the Penekepack or non-official Peneke Addons before updating, if you don't do that, you'll experience crashes and different kind of bugs!

----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, Penekowski speaking!

Because of the assistance, teachings, and feedback that I have received from Vitez, JamyzGenius, my Peneke folks and the Jkhub community, I'm now able to publish my first replacement pack, the Penekepack. A pack that, in my humble opinion, has the best of every single mod available plus a bunch of new content that was heavily customized by me.

I brought back things that I liked from the Old school MBII, better versions of existing models, new Icons, new RGB models, new hilts, a bunch of new content, new menu, new cursor, and overall a whole new and improved look for an average replacement pack.

I have included credits for every single person that helped me on this project, and of course, there's a list of all of the authors for every single model, hilt, asset or soundpack that this pack has. In other words, here's some of the stuff that our pack entails:

- New Hilts
- New Peneke UI: Optimization Menu, Authentic Lightsaber button, Music Menu
- New effects
- New Force Icons
- New Loading Screens
- New Console
- As of 2.4 : 192 New models, all of them have their custom icons and sounds, and some of them have their own RGB system

Without further ado, here's the Icon table for the pack, as well as screens from some of the models in game/artwork, the new menu and a showcase table for the hilts as well.

Enjoy it and please remember that all of the credits are inside the .rar file, along with the installation instructions and a few more notes!

And a really special thanks to Vitez, the creator of the H.B Pack, KoyMcCloud because I took some inspiration from his style to make my own icons during early versions, JamyzGenius, Rooxon & Kualan for their unlimited patience to help me out with the optimization and improvement of my pack, Peneke Tesla, SirCrusher, k4far, Shenghai for soundpack contributions, Swagmaster for helping out a great deal with the latest content of the pack, not only with constant feedback and content, but also for his willingness to learn new stuff just to improve the pack to a whole different level, kalamaray for the new saber clash effect, and last but not least Jkhub because I got so much content from that website and got to meet great people in there and many more!

Icon tables:
rebeladdontablepnk.png

impaddontablepnk.png

Optional Hilt Replacements:
pnk_hilts.png

To use these, install it the same way as vanilla Peneke Pack, drag and drop "z_zz_PNK_Hilts" from the Bonus folder inside the current version's RAR into your MBII folder.
Majority of these are made by Rooxon. Starkiller Hilts & Kota Hilt skin replacement by Doughnuts.

Hi!

Tompa's pack is a great pack as well, but if you want to try the Penekepack, in order to make it work at 100% you need to remove the tompa pk3 file from your MBII folder and put the Penekepack pk3 there.

will this pack still work for the new update
The only thing that would make the pack no longer work 100% is if the filepaths were changed. Such as a new character, etc.

As i explained in Page number 1 (I edited the post) and I quote:

PLEASE NOTE: Penekepack 1.4 is compatible with MBII V1.4.2. However, you might see a couple of duplicate models but other than that it should work, you can still use it without problems or you may uninstall it and wait for the next 1.5 update.

I also need some of your feedback for this part, as I haven't decided if I will do this or not yet. Which models would you like me to upgrade to be RGB friendly? I have heard mixed opinions about adding RGB to Commander Fox (The red ARC) Some people think that having the option to choose their own color would be really cool, where as some other people think that Commander fox should stay red because that's the actual color of his armor.
Feel free to mention some other characters that may need RGB.

I can't think of who to add RGB to but i would say add RGB to Commander Fox.

Haha, that's awesome! Well if you are still looking for ideas, a good one might be SBD/deka (with like the mandalorian armor rgb texture, if you know what I'm talking about. To give it a metallic look.) And maybe an imp commander or soldier, maybe the red stormy commander?

@Noob you know what i'd love to do? Add an RGB shield for the deka, it would look so cool, but I really don't know if it's possible. But it would be great
@Varklrai The pants only? Uhm, not really sure about that.

Changelog 1.5

Changelogneke 1.4 > 1.5

This version took us longer than usual because we had to be really careful with what we added and how we add it in order to prevent any crashes. Peneke pack 1.5 Mainly focuses on optimization, audio improvement, and many upgrades with many additions. I'll list everything that we've done in different sections. Big thanks to the JKhub Community for helping me out!

- Upgraded ep3 Anakin (Non robed version) with his classic HS face

Models from base MBII/Past Penekepack versions that were brought back:

- Crix Madine RGB
- Scerendo's Quinlan Vos (Yes guys, he's back and he no longer causes any crashes)
- Base MBII ARC_R
- Chiss Sith Sevrance
- MBII Alora

Models that were removed in order to make room for the new ones/returning ones

- Removed Non bearded Old Republic Soldier

- Removed Base MBII Captain Phasma
- Removed default Jedi kyle Katarn (Just the classic costume one)
- Removed Dark Side Jaden

Extra Notes Regarding the models Portion:

- The new Han Solo that was added had to be heavily customized in order to be able to make it work in MBII without crashing at all, therefore, the model can look better, but due to engine limitations, I had to lower the quality a little bit. It still looks great.
- I really optimized Scerendo's Quinlan Vos in order to make it work in MBII without crashes, the poly count has been greatly reduced in said model.
- Some may wonder why did I remove the base MBII's Phasma, the answer is because of personal preferences, I think that Kualan's Phasma is better than DT'S Phasma.
- Scorch's backpack has been brought back due to popular request, I realized that it was a mistake that had to be fixed.
- Some models have changed slots for optimization reasons, it shouldn't affect the performance or anything at all, but it's good to let you know.

- Harpyie

Retuning Hilts:

-Savage Opress

Extra notes for the Hilt portion:

.Most of the hilts have been upgraded, however, there are some that are gone for good, I'd like to hear your feedback about it, but I feel like the ones that were removed could improve or were not really liked by the average Penekepack user nor by me.
.All of these changes have been made fully compatible with the Peneke custom saber feature (The green button)
.The default Hilt for everyone if they don't choose a hilt from now on will be the base MBII hilt called Jedi Knight

AUDIO PORTION:

The Peneke Hilt groups saber soundpack modification:

The Penekepack 1.5 has brought a big addition to the table soundwise. We've set it so that there will be 4 Groups of hilts, the Original Trilogy group Hilts, The Force Unleashed group hilts, Knights of the old Republic group hilts and Prequels/EU group hilts. I will explain how this works.

. Every single group has a custom saber soundset, meaning that the Original trilogy hilts will have the actual saber sounds from the original trilogy, whereas the Old republic hilts will have sounds that, according to our personal preference, fit them better, same for TFU hilts/EU and prequels. Some hilts (Like the default/number one hilt) will still have the MBII base sounds, but we're aiming for great immersion with the saber hilts sounds, and a lot of variety audio wise on 1.5. All you need to do is choose one of the hilts from those groups and you'll be able to note the difference.
. Only the Grand Inquisitor has custom exclusive sounds for his staff

Extra Improvement: Kylo Ren's lightsaber sounds were improved.

We'll be polishing this new feature as we receive more feedback from you guys in future versions, let us know what you think!

The Peneke Character soundpack Overhaul:

Many characters got their soundpacks improved, you will no longer hear generic lines for most of the characters and they will have actual lines from the Movies/games. In addition to that, some characters that already had decent soundsets just got some small tweaks.

- Upgraded Han Solo's Soundpack
- Upgraded Arcann's Soundpack
- Upgraded Hera's Soundpack
- Upgraded Hispanic Jedi aka Mexican Jedi soundpack
- Upgraded The Grand Inquisitor's Soundpack
- Upgraded Kanan's Soundpack
- Upgraded Bail Organa's soundpack
- Upgraded base MBII Rey's soundpack with Penekepack's Rey soundpack
- Upgraded Satele Shan's Soundpack
- Upgraded Sith Eradicator Soundpack
- Upgraded Quigon Jinn's Soundpack
- Upgraded Sabine's Soundpack
- Tweaked Jedi/Sith Anakin's Soundpack
- Tweaked Lord Stalker's (Hoth DLC) Soundpack
- Tweaked Mace Windu's Soundpack
- Tweaked the Selkath's Soundpack
- Tweaked Starkiller's Soundpack
- Tweaked Vailyn's Soundpack
- Tweaked EP1/EP3 Obi Wan

Brand new soundpacks:

- EP7 Stormies got a new soundpack (TRAITOR! line added)
- Mandalore got a new soundpack
- First slot Boba fett got a new soundpack

The Peneke pack music Overhaul:

The music menu is something that we haven't really touched that much within the last couple of versions, however, on 1.5, we've decided to fill those placeholder gaps with some badass Star Wars music.

Songs that were added to the Peneke pack music menu:

- The Force awakens Trailer song
- Darth Revan theme song
- A.I. Invasion
- The Immolation Scene
- Knights of the Fallen SWTOR DLC Theme song
- SWTFA Starkiller base duel
- Mb2_eravana map song
- Kylo Ren's Theme song
- Rey's theme song
- Quigon's funeral

Audio Portion extra notes:

. The Peneke Hilt groups saber soundpack modification has an actual limit, meaning that the Jedi academy Engine won't let us add custom sounds to all of the hilts, however, we can always find a way to bypass some stuff, but for now we want to hear your feedback to see if we should improve/add or remove something about it.
. For the music overhaul, I highly suggest to listen to all of the songs that were added, maybe you like them, maybe you do not, but we'll love to hear if you'd like us to add some specific music, and we'll see what we can do about it.

Miscellaneous:

. Added a new menu: Luke & Vader
. New main menu theme: Fast paced Twilight of the Apprentice
. Some icons were Improved
. Set it up so the Grand Inquisitor's Lightsaber is stored in his back just like in the TV Shows whenever he pulls his saber out
. Removed the 'Custom Skin' Icon for class configuration ingame because it caused confusions
. Added new loading Screens to the Lunarbase map, in said loading screens, Commander Peneke explains that the Lunarbase crash bugs have been fixed ( More details on the bug fixes portion)
. Despite the new size of the pack, the pack has been greatly optimized, I've removed a lot of unnecesary non used/leftover files

BUG Fixes:

. I'm extremely happy to announce that the Lunarbase crash bug has been finally fixed at 100% I found the actual cause, and this information might be really useful for modders that want to make a similar pack in the future, so I'm gonna share it with you. The answer is really simple, poly count. Some models tend to have high polys due to poor optimization or because the model is way too good looking, Lunarbase goes nuts whenever a model with high polys is being used, therefore, you really need to check the amount of polys that the model that you want to add has before you actually add it, otherwise you'll experience what I experienced. Anyways, turns out that one of my glm packs had over 10k polys, anything that it's over 10k causes crashes in Lunarbase. I had to optimize that in order to lower the poly count, I also had to do the same in order to bring back Scerendo's Quinlan Vos, as it had like 28k polys, and it went down to 8000 and something IIRC. So well, since many people don't like to read changelogs, I decided to add a custom loading screen for Lunarbase, stating that the crash bug has been fixed, and that you can play there without worrying about randomly crashing.

. Fixed bug that caused that the Inquisitor staff couldn't be selectable in the Staff list.
. Fixed Jedi adventure outfit Starkiller blind look bug
. Fixed Duplicate models bug that were caused by the latest MBII update
. Fixed Holstered clone Rifle clipping on the Poncho clonetrooper, it's now hidden so that it doesn't look ugly.
. Fixed Nihilus playing a generic death noise when he dies, he should now play his actual death lines when killed
