USER INTERFACE COMEBACK:

That's right folks, the Peneke dudes missed having awesome features like the Music menu, Authentic Hilts, and network optimization,
so we took the time to add those menus back as their own UI preset in UI Layouts! There's a lot to explain about this UI update,
so we'll talk about the main menu updates first!

The main menu now has a new Mandalorian show themed background, and we removed the character preview so that you can have more room
to view the nice backgrounds featured in the other menus! For nostalgic purposes, we've readded a few old but gold to the Peneke family
menu backgrounds featured in Peneke Pack versions of old. The Kylo Ren cursor has also returned!

Next up to be featured is the Music Menu overhaul! We too missed being able to select whatever music you want during rounds, so we decided
to completely re-do the menus from the ground up, now the music is organized into six tabs; Official for official MB2 map music,
CMP for community map pack music, MGMP for movie game mappack music, uMad for uMad mappack music, Peneke for music that suits
our and hopefully your tastes too, and the Custom music tab! The peneke music easter egg is also featured somewhere in these menus,
so all of our users can have fun finding it again!

How does the custom music feature work? Well this is the ability for you to add your own music to play in-game! To make use of it,
make a new folder in your MBII mod folder named "music" without the quotations. Then add an mp3 or wav file of your choice,
preferrably mp3 format, into the folder, with the name "usertheme#", with # being a number going from 1-50, meaning you can have
up to 50 custom music tracks in-game! The number you put in place of # with 1-50 will be the same number corresponding with the user track option in-game.
It needs to be noted that before doing so, make sure that the mp3 or wav is exported with the project rate at 44100 HZ, exported in Stereo,
that's the minimum requirement for making your music work in MBII.

Our next great UI comeback is the restoration of authentic hilts! This has been added into vanilla MB2 alongside the new class menus,
and the Peneke Jedi/Sith roster has been made compatible with this feature!

The last thing to mention is the optimize button, for all our users with network issues, we have restored the old Peneke network optimization menu,
which we've even done bonus fixes for to make the bounding boxes (the areas that you can click) properly scaled with the options so that you aren't
selecting options from seemingly invisible spaces anymore.

I can't stress this enough, make sure to remove older versions of the Penekepack or non-official Peneke Addons before updating, if you don't do that, you'll experience crashes and different kind of bugs!

----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, Penekowski speaking!

Because of the assistance, teachings, and feedback that I have received from Vitez, JamyzGenius, my Peneke folks and the Jkhub community, I'm now able to publish my first replacement pack, the Penekepack. A pack that, in my humble opinion, has the best of every single mod available plus a bunch of new content that was heavily customized by me.

I brought back things that I liked from the Old school MBII, better versions of existing models, new Icons, new RGB models, new hilts, a bunch of new content, new menu, new cursor, and overall a whole new and improved look for an average replacement pack.

I have included credits for every single person that helped me on this project, and of course, there's a list of all of the authors for every single model, hilt, asset or soundpack that this pack has. In other words, here's some of the stuff that our pack entails:

- New Hilts
- New Peneke UI: Optimization Menu, Authentic Lightsaber button, Music Menu
- New effects
- New Force Icons
- New Loading Screens
- New Console
- As of 2.6 : 173 New models, all of them have their custom icons and sounds, and some of them have their own RGB system

Without further ado, here's the Icon table for the pack, as well as screens from some of the models in game/artwork, the new menu and a showcase table for the hilts as well.

Enjoy it and please remember that all of the credits are inside the .rar file, along with the installation instructions and a few more notes!

And a really special thanks to Vitez, the creator of the H.B Pack, KoyMcCloud because I took some inspiration from his style to make my own icons during early versions, JamyzGenius, Rooxon & Kualan for their unlimited patience to help me out with the optimization and improvement of my pack, Peneke Tesla, SirCrusher, k4far, Shenghai for soundpack contributions, Swagmaster for helping out a great deal with the latest content of the pack, not only with constant feedback and content, but also for his willingness to learn new stuff just to improve the pack to a whole different level, kalamaray for the new saber clash effect, and last but not least Jkhub because I got so much content from that website and got to meet great people in there and many more!

Icon tables

Optional Hilt Replacements:
pnk_hilts.png

To use these, install it the same way as vanilla Peneke Pack, drag and drop "z_zz_PNK_Hilts" from the Bonus folder inside the current version's RAR into your MBII folder.
Majority of these are made by Rooxon. Starkiller Hilts & Kota Hilt skin replacement by Doughnuts.

Hey man, thanks for that.

Tompa actually joined the Peneke Team, so he'll be working with us moving forward. Now, in regards to the future of the next versions/patches:

I'm currently considering pushing a small patch to fix those new bugged models that were caused by the new MBII update. But given the fact that it's not a game breaking issue, I might as well just keep working on 1.6 and bring you a well done version, not a half assed, ubisoft kind of thing patch. One thing that I need to say though is that I haven't worked on 1.6 that much due to lack of time and ideas, I feel like 1.5 pretty much completed the whole pack, and there's not so many models that I could add, not enough for it to be called 1.6 or new version. All I'm saying is that 1.6 might take longer than usual.

However just to keep you updated here's what we've planned for 1.6 (These are not definite yet, some more features might get added or taken off the list)

- New Menu
- More optimization/ Better performance
- Bug fixing
- New models (with the few slots that I have left)
- Model upgrades
- Soundpack optimizations
- 100% FA compatibility fix (That's gonna take us a lot of time )
- Icons upgrades

And maybe, just maybe, The Penekemations (Peneke pack new animations) , or at least a small patch to fix the retarded running animations for purple/cyan. (That's the only addition that I didn't like about the new update, I mean no disrespect to the devs, great job btw)

Should y'all have any ideas just feel free to PM them or post them here and i'll see what I can do.

PS: Just to clarifiy, the Penekemations, if I add them, will have a separate pk3. so if you don't like the animations you can always have a choice.

Whether there are plans for the addition of new models of Droideka?

Hi guys, just a few updates:

We're getting closer and closer to the official release of Penekepack 1.6, if everything goes well I'm pretty sure that the pack will be released a few days before Rogue one goes live on cinemas. (Spoiler alert; the pack will have a Rogue one theme ;) )

Here's what we've done so far:

- New Menu / UI Improvement = 100% Done
- More optimization/ Better performance = 80% Done
- Bug fixing = 85% Done
- New models (with the few slots that I have left) = 95% Done
- Model upgrades = 100% Done (unless a new upgrade comes out within the next weeks)
- Soundpack optimizations (Volume boost) = 35% Done
- 100% FA compatibility fix = 90% thanks to swagmaster (New developer of the Peneke Family) who took the time and effort to fix it, models should be accurate when playing FA without any exceptions.
- 100% FA Hilts accuracy fix = 90% This means that hilts will be fully accurate to their characters in Full authentic mode from now on
- Icons upgrades = 100% Done
- Deka shield RGB feature = 0% , will provide more details below
- Alphabetic Order hilt list fix = 100%
- More custom lightsaber sounds for the rest of the hilts = 100%
- Beta testing = 0%
- New Hilts = 95%
- Penekemations = 80% (We'll be releasing 2 separate kind of Penekemations, one will have Custom stances/Jump movements as well as a fix for the dumb looking animations that the devs added for cyan and purple when running, the other kind of Penekemations will be for users who want to keep the animations as vanilla as possible but also want to fix the cyan and purple running animation with a few improvements, this means that this one won't have custom stances or stuff like that)
- Credits update = 70%

  • Once we reach a 100% on all of those categories, we'll be running a private beta test to make sure that everything works well to prevent any issues, given the fact that many people use the pack now, and we can't afford having game breaking bugs that may hinder the enjoyment of the Pack. If there are no bugs, we'll release 1.6 after it's done.
  • For people that have experience with modeling and shaders, I might need some help since I'm having a hard time trying to make the RGB shields of the Dekas work, so if you're willing to help me out with your skills, I would really appreciative it. (PM me your steam/discord and we'll take it from there)

I'm gonna leave a couple of pics that some people may want to see, these models have already been implemented on our Penekepack1.6 Dev branch version.

Wait,is that "lightsaber held backwards" one of the Penekemations? :O
Will the BH Assassin droid be RGB?
P.S:i think you should add an option for making the RGB Deka Shield(if you manage to do it)normal and not being able to see the color.Like a "on/off" option.

Perhaps we could get something added to the Sith Assassin voice lines? Having him only say "Your time is over Revan", or "You were not fit to lead the Sith, Revan" is kinda unfitting for his otherwise bad ass looking model. Maybe SWTOR sith inquisitor lines?

Also, I would like to see some new voice lines for Lord Starkiller, rather than just the same ones from the vanilla model with slight differences.

For staff, I am always disappointed whenever I use the forward sawblade crouch move in terms of sound. Rather than just individual saber swinging sounds grouped together, perhaps we could get actual sounds from saberstaffs such as Maul, Savage, etc? The parts where they spin their blades like rotors sound really good, and it's really strange they didn't include those sounds for the vanilla.

And last but not least please. PLEASE. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY give us clone wars clone voice lines.

i heard the soundpack for the sith assassin is inaccurate, and is actually the dark jedi soundpack from kotor, kotor 2 version is different, its silent, doesn't say anything

for new lines for lord starkiller, sadly nothing can be done, all the lines for lord starkiller's soundpack are what i found in tfu sounds that were useable, best i can do is add a new taunt for the sith stalker saying "You will never escape me"

staff, might be possible, im gonna test that

tcw lines, i made a new fisto soundpack with tcw lines, but not sure if its gonna be used

Yes, it's rather unfitting for the given model, which looks like it'd be talking through some sort of vo-coder or something.

Well, I do remember in the beginning of the Hoth mission, there was some conversations between Starkiller and the Imperials via radio. Perhaps we could use some of those? For example, when reaching the ice platforms that collapse, Starkiller says "You have failed me for the last time." Perhaps something like that?

I'm glad about the staff, however as for tcw, I was more-so referencing clone trooper lines from the show. Perhaps make specific lines for Cody, Rex and Fives? It's just strange hearing different voice lines that don't match the clone wars models.

The problem is that it's hard to get high quality lines when most of the lines are combined with music and blasters in the background. We'll try to look into it. I'm up for adding some tcw lines for the droids tho!

I mean- The Kanan model has music in his voice lines. Hell, a lot of models have music in their lines. I don't see any real problems with that.

I'll let swagmaster handle it. Our goal is to get clean lines, without any noise in the background. If we can't, then we get stuff like Kanan's taunts. That is not the case with the current clones since we have good audio for them. If Swagmaster can get clean lines from tcw then we'll add them.
