USER INTERFACE COMEBACK:

That's right folks, the Peneke dudes missed having awesome features like the Music menu, Authentic Hilts, and network optimization,
so we took the time to add those menus back as their own UI preset in UI Layouts! There's a lot to explain about this UI update,
so we'll talk about the main menu updates first!

The main menu now has a new Mandalorian show themed background, and we removed the character preview so that you can have more room
to view the nice backgrounds featured in the other menus! For nostalgic purposes, we've readded a few old but gold to the Peneke family
menu backgrounds featured in Peneke Pack versions of old. The Kylo Ren cursor has also returned!

Next up to be featured is the Music Menu overhaul! We too missed being able to select whatever music you want during rounds, so we decided
to completely re-do the menus from the ground up, now the music is organized into six tabs; Official for official MB2 map music,
CMP for community map pack music, MGMP for movie game mappack music, uMad for uMad mappack music, Peneke for music that suits
our and hopefully your tastes too, and the Custom music tab! The peneke music easter egg is also featured somewhere in these menus,
so all of our users can have fun finding it again!

How does the custom music feature work? Well this is the ability for you to add your own music to play in-game! To make use of it,
make a new folder in your MBII mod folder named "music" without the quotations. Then add an mp3 or wav file of your choice,
preferrably mp3 format, into the folder, with the name "usertheme#", with # being a number going from 1-50, meaning you can have
up to 50 custom music tracks in-game! The number you put in place of # with 1-50 will be the same number corresponding with the user track option in-game.
It needs to be noted that before doing so, make sure that the mp3 or wav is exported with the project rate at 44100 HZ, exported in Stereo,
that's the minimum requirement for making your music work in MBII.

Our next great UI comeback is the restoration of authentic hilts! This has been added into vanilla MB2 alongside the new class menus,
and the Peneke Jedi/Sith roster has been made compatible with this feature!

The last thing to mention is the optimize button, for all our users with network issues, we have restored the old Peneke network optimization menu,
which we've even done bonus fixes for to make the bounding boxes (the areas that you can click) properly scaled with the options so that you aren't
selecting options from seemingly invisible spaces anymore.

I can't stress this enough, make sure to remove older versions of the Penekepack or non-official Peneke Addons before updating, if you don't do that, you'll experience crashes and different kind of bugs!

----------------------------------------------------------------
Hi, Penekowski speaking!

Because of the assistance, teachings, and feedback that I have received from Vitez, JamyzGenius, my Peneke folks and the Jkhub community, I'm now able to publish my first replacement pack, the Penekepack. A pack that, in my humble opinion, has the best of every single mod available plus a bunch of new content that was heavily customized by me.

I brought back things that I liked from the Old school MBII, better versions of existing models, new Icons, new RGB models, new hilts, a bunch of new content, new menu, new cursor, and overall a whole new and improved look for an average replacement pack.

I have included credits for every single person that helped me on this project, and of course, there's a list of all of the authors for every single model, hilt, asset or soundpack that this pack has. In other words, here's some of the stuff that our pack entails:

- New Hilts
- New Peneke UI: Optimization Menu, Authentic Lightsaber button, Music Menu
- New effects
- New Force Icons
- New Loading Screens
- New Console
- As of 2.6 : 173 New models, all of them have their custom icons and sounds, and some of them have their own RGB system

Without further ado, here's the Icon table for the pack, as well as screens from some of the models in game/artwork, the new menu and a showcase table for the hilts as well.

Enjoy it and please remember that all of the credits are inside the .rar file, along with the installation instructions and a few more notes!

And a really special thanks to Vitez, the creator of the H.B Pack, KoyMcCloud because I took some inspiration from his style to make my own icons during early versions, JamyzGenius, Rooxon & Kualan for their unlimited patience to help me out with the optimization and improvement of my pack, Peneke Tesla, SirCrusher, k4far, Shenghai for soundpack contributions, Swagmaster for helping out a great deal with the latest content of the pack, not only with constant feedback and content, but also for his willingness to learn new stuff just to improve the pack to a whole different level, kalamaray for the new saber clash effect, and last but not least Jkhub because I got so much content from that website and got to meet great people in there and many more!

Icon tables

Optional Hilt Replacements:
pnk_hilts.png

To use these, install it the same way as vanilla Peneke Pack, drag and drop "z_zz_PNK_Hilts" from the Bonus folder inside the current version's RAR into your MBII folder.
Majority of these are made by Rooxon. Starkiller Hilts & Kota Hilt skin replacement by Doughnuts.

Something I remember a pack or two ago was a dark sided anakin model that was really high quality and had some intense Sith eyes. I noticed that we no longer have that now, and have settled for a much lower quality model. Will it be re-integrated in the next patch?

If not, could you elaborate on where in which version the model was located so that I may attempt to implement it in for myself in the current version?

EDIT: Just tried using previous version to somehow restore the model, but I messed it all up and now anakin's textures are bork.

Hey guys! It's been a while. I'm really glad that Penekepack 1.7 has been a great success and many of you have been having a blast with it, makes all the hard work worth it. I've been pretty busy in real life within the last couple of months, but I always tend to lurk around and check the forums pretty often. Unfortunately, the recent forum drama has been eating up my time and my co-developers time. But now that that's pretty much over, we're starting to move forward. I wanna keep you guys updated and talk about the future of Penekepack and MBII when it comes to new models and visual stuff.

To begin with, don't be afraid. Despite the fact that I dedicate more time to official MBII now and real life, Penekepack will always be my baby and I'll always try to add more stuff to it, however, I'm afraid that things might slow down for a while. Penekepack, as of now, is in a really solid state and the additions moving forward won't be that big because the project is pretty much complete. As you may have noticed, on the latest versions, we've been upgrading more models rather than adding new ones because our roster feels pretty solid so far, not to mention that I've been given some more creative freedom on the MBII Team and I can always add whatever I want to official MB2 as long as it fits the requirements. That's actually good because everyone will be able to see our stuff rather than downloading a third party mod to do so!

So what are you doing right now, Peneke?

I'm currently looking into upgrading a few models for visual improvement as well as optimizing some stuff, and also something really cool for the mandalorian lovers, I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just say that.

What are your future projects besides Penekepack and Vanilla MBII?

I have a new project in mind requested by a lot of people, it will be a new replacement pack but with another theme. it won't be as big as Penekepack and will not have as many features, but it's aimed for our MBII duelists, I have not even started yet, but we have a few ideas so far. Stay tuned!

Will you implement Penekepack's features in MBII at some point?

We had plans for it but it's not as simple as it sounds, however I'm happy to announce that we have something even better in the works thanks to one of my minions, this will be official and will offer a lot of UI customization for everyone, wanna have a customizable menu with plenty of custom themes, perhaps you feel like having a Clonetrooper menu today, but maybe you changed your mind and you want to use a Harambe menu. Well, say no more! we're looking forward to giving more news about it!

Any plans to make MBII a bit more modding friendly?

We hear you, we know that the current system is a bit shitty, and it's in our goals to make everything easier for you guys. Again, thanks to one of my minions on the MBII team, adding brand new models to MBII without replacing any existing ones will be possible. You heard that right! You'll be able to add whatever model you want to whatever class you want without sacrificing your favorite models. This is currently a work in Progress and there's no set deadline as of now. But it will happen. This will possibly break Penekepack and any existing replacement pack, but we'll guide our modders so that we can all adapt to this new system.

With all that being said, let's answer some questions that you folks have asked on the last couple of pages.

I want more hooded badasses. The white starkiller in jedi is awesome (not gray and tight, white).
Want. More. Black. Cloaks. None in sith can even be compared to it.
P. S. Just looked at that first model again - I. Want. It.

You and your dammed hooded Jedi fetish, we'll see.

Can we have some more trooper diversity on solds?
Darktrooper - JKHub
shoretrooper on sold, and just general sold love in general?
I'd love more rebel variations of the tantive outfit

I don't see why not!

Something I remember a pack or two ago was a dark sided anakin model that was really high quality and had some intense Sith eyes. I noticed that we no longer have that now, and have settled for a much lower quality model. Will it be re-integrated in the next patch?

EDIT: Just tried using previous version to somehow restore the model, but I messed it all up and now anakin's textures are bork.

We removed that anakin because of 2 reasons:
- We needed the slot to add a new model
- It was causing confussions because it's still the same outfit with a few different things, though I gotta say that I love seeing when people tk each other because of that, yeah i'm evil.

Wtf???? There is sooooooooo much Tfu content hell even generic rebel IS FROM TFU. There are even 2!!! 2 Kotas. And it's not enough for you still?

WHAT'S WRONG WITH HAVING MORE KOTA? BITCH I'LL CUT YOU.

I'd personally like if if there were more sort of "Generic" models in here. Like generic jedi, sith, maybe a hero too? Like have it be a rebel commando or something?

I also really like droids. If you could find a way to add more droid-looking characters to both sides, (Preferably republic) that would be amazing.

Stay tuned for your first suggestion, as for the second one I'll definitely look into it, there are not so many droid models unfortunately.

I think Penek should make a skin for a new character in the canon, Kirak Infil'a.
Looks pretty cool, no promises though, I don't see anyone willing to do it.

The thing about moving characters like cad bane into the mando section is simply that it adds confusion. What's nice about MBII is how easy you can spot a class. They all use very distinct animations and appearances and weapons. The same goes for the bulky SBD's. I don't see any ways they could be incorporated without basically breaking them client side. They would appear to have much bigger hitboxes than they really do. However, I'm all for the sith/jedi ideas. I am especially fond of the sith starkiller model posted above.

The biggerboat is totally right here in regards to @ESS 's suggestion.

I hope I covered everything, feel free to ask any questions.

Cheers.

Can you like, switch the kreia (Darth Traya) Model or do something with or arm, cause it's a bit annoying to duel against, Someone can take duals and just have them both in the hand, which is weird looking, or just take staff and make it harder to pb. It's just a small thing that's annoying a bit D:

I'll drop you a DM once I have some time.

Interesting feedback, while I think that it's a pretty neat feature, I can see your point. I'll consider it.

Hey Peneke, big fan of this pack and been using it for awhile. You likely have bigger things prioritized but at some point is there any chance for a Darth Plagueis model? The only one I've found is from here NightShadowX1's Replacement Pack [GalaxiesPathPack] and while I could just put the model in the game myself (no disrespect to the original creator) it would look quite outdated next to all the new and updated models. Thanks in advance and keep improving the pack, can't even play vanilla MB2 anymore lol

this is how the old Plagueis model looked for reference
