Ever since I tried playing mb2. It blurs when I move or the camera moves. It's like when someone uses force speed and it blurs. It's like this permanently. Please help. OS: Windows 10
Computer: Toshiba satellite laptop

Post a screenshot of that blur.

MBII Launcher => Settings => check "Enable logging" => Repair installation, post latest log from "Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII_Launcher\logs" here.

Does it happening when you're running MBII Client: MBII Launcher => Settings => Engine => MBII Client => Play?
Does it happening when you're playing base Jedi Academy?

Could you capture it somehow?
Never heard about it. o_O

I can't run base Jedi Academy for some reason. I'm playing on the MBII Client. I'll get a screenshot up today.

This is not the log I'm looking for. You either didn't repair installation or picked a wrong file.
Please repair installation and upload a correct log.

Also, MBII => Setup => Network options, if you have some value for timenudge, set it to "off".

Apologies. It was the most recent one. The others I looked through were in January before the problem started. Mostly it was "checking for launcher updates" or something like that.

EDIT:

This is the logs I have.

Then repair installation using Launcher, wait till it completed (takes some time), and post a latest log.

And please answer, did a timenudge change make any difference for a blur?

Why you can't play base JA? What exactly happens when you are trying playing it?

Time nudge is off, was off already. I repaired it and no new log. Just those
EDIT:
Actually the one updated but is essentially the same.

This is very strange. Did Launcher show progress of repair process? Did you see a progress bar?

Anyhow, perform these steps:
  • Download a file from an attachment
  • Place it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Academy\GameData" folder
  • Change it extension to ".vbs' (it has been uploaded with ".txt" extension due a technical restriction of these forums)
  • Launch it, wait till you see a message box (takes a lot of time)
  • Then start the Movie Battles, wait for a blur occurs
  • Run downloaded script again, wait till you see a message box
  • Go to "My Documents" folder, you'll see two new files: "MBII diag files.txt" and "MBII diag mods.txt"
  • Uploaded them to this thread

Please upload your config ("My Documents\My Games\OpenJK\MBII\openjk.cfg").

Try launching game using jamp client. Any difference?

Why do you can't play base JA? What exactly happens when you are trying playing it?

it just crashes. I have tried running it in Windows compatibility 7-Vista with no luck. Crashes on start up of the actual game.

I'm totally asking the leads to make you the official moderator.
He's been extremely helpful so far. I thank him and everyone else who is helping me so far.

How does it crash? Standard Windows dialog "X application has stopped working", or JA console? If it's console, post a log here.
Were you able to play JA on this computer in the past?
Do you have similar problems with some other games? Your videocard may be the reason, we got a numerous reports about stability issues caused by Intel graphics:
Technical Issue - Help me, please. | Movie Battles II Community
Technical Issue - game started crashing even more | Movie Battles II Community
Technical Issue - Game Crashes on map change | Movie Battles II Community
Technical Issue - Everything is just white and this is a launcher issue as well | Movie Battles II Community
Technical Issue - Could not open GL subsystem | Movie Battles II Community
VM_Create on UI failed | Movie Battles II Community
[SOLVED] - Ok one more thing xDDD | Movie Battles II Community

Have you tried running Movie Battles using jamp engine?

Create a shortcut for "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Jedi Academy\GameData\mbii.x86.exe", right click on that shortcut => Properties, add to "target" field:
Code:
+developer 1 +set logfile 3 +set fs_game mbii
Launch that shortcut, mb2 should starts. Play until you see that blur.
Upload a file "My Documents\My Games\OpenJK\MBII\qconsole.log" here.

I still want to see your config, screenshots and logs from my script.
I'm totally asking the leads to make you the official moderator.
Thank you, I appreciate it, but I don't think it's a good idea since I had some troubles with pictures I posted in "Funniest pictures" thread.
Also, I don't agree with some of CoC statements and with most of moderators decisions tbh. I'm not going to make a drama from my thoughts of current rules/policy, but I don't want to become the one who is in charge to enforce those rules, too.

Ocoty2K.jpg

This is what I see the entire game. No matter what server.
Would be better if it was a screenshot, not a photo, because I can't tell where is a buggy blur and where are a photo defects...

Anyhow, where is everything else I've asked for? Logs, config, answers for questions I made? Please post it all.

What version of JKA do you own. (Steam, CD, Torrent, etc) Also, if it happens on every server it might not be a network issue and be a hardware issue. Can your laptop even run MBII? (Not likely lol) Have you tried lowering video settings? Try creating your own match and see if the bug continues. It should be under Play>Create in the menu

Invalid, you're not the lead ;)

By the way - judging by photo, it is strangest graphical issue, I've never seen something like that. Indeed, take a screenshot - I'm curious if it will be visible there, or static scene is all right.

Do you have any OpenGL32.dll file in your GameData folder? Have you done any manipulations with ANY OpenGL32.dll file recently?
