This patch has a lot of OG base JKA content with 10 new FAs, and one very large and incredibly ridiculous FA - Power Battlles II. Hopefully it will be enough to tide everyone over while the next big release is being worked on!

Important note for anyone who participated in the public PB testing: Be sure to remove any beta files as they may cause unexpected issues.

CHANGELOG

General

  • Fix: smod mute carrying on into the next map switch even if unmuted prior.
  • Change: Halloween assets added (mb2_undeadstar is back). :helpusobi1:

  • New: Base mp/ffa maps have been ported and added to uM map pack. These classics feature some very unique and silly FAs Frenzy created. Ported lovingly by Biggus Dickus (Mr. Biggs)!
    • uM_Canyon - Originally from the bonus map pack by Ravensoft (Bonus4.pk3)
      • uM_Canyon_guns - FA based more around sniping and jetpacking/grappling
    • uM_NS_streets - Original JK2 map
      • uM_NS_guns - FA based more around sniping and jetpacking/grappling
    • uM_Vjun - otherwise known as mp/ffa1

We just pushed a small client side update to fix a couple of crashes related to the powerbattles FAs and the undeadstar FA

And the joy ends when they've yet again not nerfed (or I guess buff) FP drains.

And the real classic dotf that everyone wanted is no where to be seen.

Well, at least PB will be fun since everything is OP and not just saber users.

Also is there a chance we can get a new update for the guns, to be a little more accurate? A friend of mine was complaining the shooting mechanics were kinda off.

By accurate do you mean how the spread increases and decreases from walking running crouching etc or how your crosshair actually matches where shots land?

Thank you for this update it's actually fun. Oh I don't wanna be that guy but if you can all these maps and another mode stop being stubborn and add balc dotf for fucks sake lol

Like.... basically..... when you aim your crosshair at an enemy, those blaster bolts shoot in a straight line where you aimed.

Shot spread is a mechanic in the game, if you stand still or crouch you will be more accurate, guns are balanced around this, what did you friend say about the shooting mechanics?

le le le add classic dotf le le saber!!! yes it gets changed every le update but how dare you not switch it around while the amount of unhappy le saberists is le same!!

...? No there will never be aim assist, if what im reading this as is what you mean. Part of the gunplay is to lead shots
