[SOLVED] Missing Files while joining server

When i try joining a server this shows up while connecting. You are missing some file referenced by the server.
running the game on steam , and mac. not using a launcher

Hard to say but your mod probably isn't fully installed if you're missing files. How did you install it? Launcher might be able to fix your install if the heavy load on the servers is reduced by now.

downloaded it through modDB , is the launcher available for mac?

moddb version is out of date. It requires patch, that you download from here: http://www.moviebattles.org/download/servers/V1.3.1_V1.3.2_Upgrade.zip
Alternatively, you can download mb2 as single file using one of those:

Yes there is, but the whole install process for mac can be tricky. You should read this topic:
