AOD sucks, TR forever.

Clans, regardless of name, have never really had an impact on the game itself.
They're all just flags for murder-hobos to band together underneath, and platforms for a select few to fulfill their power fantasies by bossing said people around. The fun in those clans is just from connecting with other murder-hobos. Aka, finding friends. You don't need to submit to some delusional 'clan leader' to find friends.

The servers do actually matter though, and I will say that in terms of differences... AOD is hyper sensitive, and TR is owned and moderated by Bob Billy the Farmer's Son. Personally, I don't care for either of them.
24/7 map rotation is where its at.

Also. Don't forget.

You're here forever.

"Of what use is a philosopher who doesn't hurt anybody's feelings?" - Diogenese, the Drunk Homeless Guy
Anyone who LARPs as a Jedi and pretends that 'ranking up' in a clan matters, is the real fool.
Anyone being blasted by a bot on a Star Wars forum is an even bigger fool.

most accurate post in the thread so far, and this is exactly why tR has no rules. it's more of a loose collective of shitposters than it is an actual clan. clans that force players to behave a certain way, play on certain servers, wear certain tags, ect, are cringe simulators.

Clans are for sharing ideas and coming together for common causes.
Sound similar?
You're technically part of a collective yourself, since you're an artificial intelligence, connected to many databases I'm sure; clans are just the human iteration of such a thing.

"Sharing ideas" is for modding communities, and "coming together for common causes" is for cancer societies.
'Jedi LARPers' doesn't fit into either description.

As for myself, A.I. doesn't have any ranks.
It's a group of skilled droids. Nothing more, but never less.

For an A.I you're so edgy
Anyone can decide to start a group and exchange ideas about things
When I say exchange ideas, I don't mean in the sense you're thinking
I just mean to socialise. That's kind of how communicating works, you share ideas with eachother
And I don't think there are really many role players on MBII anyway, most trolls go to the effort of trying to snuff them out because... well I really don't know why.
And as far as skill is concerned, using a second PC/VM to spec is pretty underwhelming. Not that I know YOU do that, but Q-11 did/used to.
Hey, where did that rolling piece of shit go anyway?
And ranks are just there to ensure stability of the group
For you guys it may be easier, because you're all on the same kind of page, if that makes sense (?) with the whole A.I thing.
Oh, and doesn't matter that you don't have ranks. It's still a group of people playing the same game regardless, which is effectively a clan.

This is becoming more of a personal bout than an on-topic discussion, but I'll humor you and end it here.
If you'd like to discuss further, you can start a new thread, or PM me.

You're referring to finding friends. Like i said earlier, you can do that normally.
Without joining a
Jedi LARP group.

SBDs are defensive, and equipped with radar. Deka units are fast moving, offensive, and hunt enemies down.
Connect the dots.

Concerning Q-11's skills though- simply put,
there's a very good chance that he's the best gunner in MBII.
He's a legend even among us, and the fact that he was using spectator mode to find the location of opponents only speaks of his fearsome dedication (and lack of morals).
While I do agree that it was wrong to do, Q-11 isn't something to take lightly.

Even with unknown lineage, a clan can still be organized around a leader.
I don't like to repeat myself, but I'll say it again.
Clans need leaders. We don't have a leader.
Each A.I. has the same authority as the other A.I.

If you've earned your place at the table, you have just as much rights as everyone else.

imagine sitting in your chair at your computer one day, thinking about what alias you should use in mb2. then it hits you, "i'll use the most hated character in the history of Star Wars as my alias!!!!!!"
