Okay, this time everything should have been done correctly.
Have a look.

Yes, now these are the logs we're looking for.
Log says that jamp on you computer loads correct version of uix86.dll.
Try this:
  1. Shutdown Movie Battles
  2. Move file "C:\Games\Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII\jampconfig.cfg" to some unrelated folder, or delete it.
  3. Launch MBII via jamp
Is there still error "Client and Server versions don't match"?

Unfortunately it still appears.
I remove jampconfig.cfg from MB II folder, start launcher through jamp and the info is the same.
Strange, because that file appears again in MBII folder after that.

Damn, how can it even be possible?!
I have uix86.dll and jamp.exe with exactly same md5 (control sum) as yours, and I can connect servers running mb2 using jamp.
Have you tried different servers?
Have you tried turning off anti-virus (I see Avast on your screenshot) and all other software before running MBII?

Sorry, but I'm running out of ideas in this case.
Actually, there is no guarantee that even if you were able to run Movie Battles via jamp it wouldn't crash, but still, the fact that it complains about version mismatch bugs me the most -- never seen such thing before... :(

That's normal -- jampconfig.cfg, as its name says, is a config of jamp.
It is supposed to be created by each jamp launch, if it not exists.

We had some cases when spoiled configs prevent people to play, or caused bugs, but it all went away when users deleted their configs.

Why are you checking ui module when version mismatch happens to cgame module?
ui module has nothing to do with the version mismatch error.

Damn
You're right, when I saw uix86 in the list of loaded modules and didn't see a cgamex86 for first time, I get stuck in thought that cgame isn't really used for playing without actually checking it.
That's my fault.

So this is all makes sense now:
In previous log, that was made by mistake, there are lines:
C:\Games\Jedi Academy\GameData:
1FF396009B93B67B897EB792ACE3D56F cgamex86.dll 1303552 bytes
cgamex86.dll really shouldn't be there, and I don't know what version is for that hash.
My cgamex86.dll is 640C7278FDD1E73B6B758987141A0DE2, and I believe that 1FF396009B93B67B897EB792ACE3D56F could be from previous MBII release.
Jamp and MBII Client unpack and load dlls in different ways, while MBII Client always loads exactly that file that was found in .pk3 file, Jamp may unpack module from a package to "Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII" and then load a file from "Jedi Academy\GameData".

In fact, that log is more useful than the one I've requested.

@Enette, delete files:
C:\Games\Jedi Academy\GameData\cgamex86.dll
C:\Games\Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII\cgamex86.dll
and start MBII via jamp once again.

On a side note, MBII devs, guys, could you start adding a version info into dlls you release?
Because without that information it's a little hard to distinguish a one file from another, and as you can see in the log above, uix.86.dll is the only one that doesn't have that info among all other files jamp does use.
It shouldn't be hard, really :).

It worked! Removing cgamesx86.dll solved the problem!
JAMP works, connected to a server, radar looks like it's supposed to.
After 2 rounds of play and often repeated use of sense, no crash.
Thank you very much for all the effort that you gave, thanks everyone :)

Great, nice to see it finally works.
Sorry, if I paid a little more attention it would be solved faster.

There is some further reading about things we mentioned; not very necessary, but just in case...:
Removing cgamesx86.dll solved the problem!
Jamp + dlls inside of GameData = usually problems (but can be used to run multiple instances):
Hosting Server - Start three servers on one host machine
radar looks like it's supposed to.
Minimap Player Arrows are white instead of team-colored

It was all me! All of it!

I was the light that lit the way, illuminated the darkness!
The beacon that shone and called forth eyes hidden.
The candle, burning bright, in the very dark night.

Oh.....

Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand dare sieze the fire?

And what shoulder, & what art.
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain?
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp
Dare its deadly terrors clasp?

When the stars threw down their spears,
And watered heaven with their tears,
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

Learned it from Batman:)
