Does anyone know how I can fix it or the reason why it happens? I don't know what else to put other than I use Windows 10.

-Repair/clean install

can do this before or after if still persists but

check your enable logging for now. try doing it again and when it crashes post your log for now in MBII_Launcher/logs.

There is a similar thread: Technical Issue - mb2 randomly freezes and cannot force to close.
A .bat file I've suggested didn't work though. Maybe it will work for you?

And yes, do a repair.
If you have any replacement packs installed, try running game without them.
