    3p cam orientation abuse.

you can't really argue that 3p cam is going to lead to higher skill levels

    3p cam orientation abuse.

have you played tom clancy's ghost recon phantoms? it's a pretty fun game that's specifically partly stealth based. it suffers from many of the same percieved problems. while the mechanic may be justified by being there for stealth, it actually leads to people sitting there waiting for people to...

    3p cam orientation abuse.

so it's a skillcap. interesting. what happened to good oldfashioned soundwhoring? like my first example, it doesn't help you at all with stealth, since you can look down an empty corridor, see there is nobody there, and they're just around the opposite corner. you're just extending the...

    3p cam orientation abuse.

1p increases stealth capability, although i'm not suggesting 1p only. in 1p people are limited to 70 degrees or so of view compared to the fish-eye view from 3p. if you're above somebody they're less likely to see you with 70 degree cam unless they look up than if they have full 3p surely...

somebody who played for hundreds of hours can still give retarded feedback, how many hours are in a few weeks, by the way? plenty to learn the basics and begin to apply them effectively. especially if i'm only really playing MB2. i didn't discuss the saber combat because i think it's pretty...

    3p cam orientation abuse.

okay, so imagine you're at the end of a corridor, you're looking down it to see if anyone is coming so you can be a lame projectile rifle MVP but at the other end of the corridor somebody else is doing the same thing how is that better gameplay than if they both ran around the corner and had...

    3p cam orientation abuse.

the is one area of feedback i don't need years of experience to give my two cents in, because other 3p available games have the same problems, and address them in some simple ways. the problem i see with vision in the game is that primarily, people can look round a corner while standing firmly...

what exactly is mblock? and what's the difference between that and swingblock? and why does doing that drain fp?

i meant if you're using it against a saber user while there is a supporting trooper or something, but yes i see your point. by the way, is there a trick to deflecting accurately? and what's the deal with block+click blocking where you move the saber while blocking, what's the point in that?

i had limited success using it in 1v1 duels using 2x sabers, i'd attack, fall back, throw then try to slip them up by attacking and risking getting hit if i didn't get out before their next swing. it's not possible to use it if there's any uncivilized weapons about, though.

saber throw doesn't have to stagger, but it could be better. making it controllable mid-air could be nice. i'm not saying do what i'm saying verbatim. what's wrong with the idea of sith scream rather than a basic speed skill for instance? it suits the sith. it's aggressive.

"i only want feedback from people who are set in their opinions and have played the mod from outset" if nobody gave you any feedback would you just put whatever ideas you thought were best in? like how EA make arcadefront if anything you should ask everyone to give feedback after their first...

i'd prefer it if more dev time was put into the current melee L+R grab than into a new type of grab

    non-force saber users or droids

it'd be cool if there were melee-based saber users that aren't force users, like magna guards, royal guards with pikes and grievous, or sabine with darksaber. the class mirrors tfu's idea of an enemy that's really strong with sabers but susceptible to force powers and mind tricks. example of...

okay, so saber throw seems to be the most popular idea to improve. i'll throw out some ideas. 1) make it so that you can control the throw mid-air. increase it to 100 dmg. or 2) add saber throw skill with 3 ranks. a) saber throw 1 gives the current throw now, but it is free b) saber throw 2...
