I truly like the idea of an rp mode. It's something to open up a creative side of this mod in terms of just fun role play.

Verifying your game integrity (files) could fix a lot of problems, go to your launcher settings and tick that option. I was having similar problems to you, and I ticked this option and my launcher worked great.

This will most likely turn out like nudgetoggle. I consider this unnecessary. It's best to either have it on or off globally, and for now in the current saber direction I think locked combo swings would bring justice to non-combo-breaking pbs if that ever were to be added.

I just alt tab in a windowed mode. Has always been my preference.

I had this issue. Try checking 'check installation integrity on start' in launcher settings.
