- Yes. I was a huge fan of RC1. One of my favorite builds.
-No, I wouldn't say that.
-No, I enjoyed it at the time and didn't think it was difficult.
-Blocking animations locked sabers, but it had some upsides aswell. I wasn't in the dev sphere at the time so I can only guess why it was removed...
It's an uphill battle sometimes because
#1 Nudge is demonic.
#2 Red offense means super slow high damage staggering swings.
#3 Interrupt meta
#4 Halfswing changes
That was being pushed for a long time in the beta. Current build isn't 'saber changes' as much as it is a fix to the horrendous...
Go make an achilles saber revamp thread wherein you post your suggestions and 'discuss' the future direction of sabering in MBII, instead of clogging up the feedback thread with unnecessary garbage. It's a feedback thread supposed to be in bullet point form, not a thread where you derail and...
If someone tries to publicly shame/slander my name then I see no reason why I shouldn't call him/them out on it.
Also guys, here's the official feedback thread. 1.4.5 Official Feedback Thread
Just played it a bit. Duelings alot better than before, closer to 1.3 than any other patch I would say. I am still having a problem with PB+Counter acting weirdly and interrupting me. Sometimes it looks like attacks hit me delayed, or mayhap its the sound. Also, I experienced 2 instances of...
Most likely. If you have some demos you need to process you could copy 1.4.4 MBII to a new folder and rename it, then download 1.4.5 so you have two copies, one 1.4.4 for demos and 1.4.5 for playing.
Nice. It's the pack I was using in my first MBII duels video where I play 1v2 vs my brothers on CC. It really has many awesome models.
EDIT: Like Darth Sion from Kotor.
Welcome (back). I have known many a skylar in my time in JK. The first one I knew was an American roleplayer back in 2004. Then there was another skylar in MBII some time ago. Dunno if that were you or not since I didn't know that skylar well enough to say. ^^
It's basically a shoring up of the foundation before the full 'revamp' which is basically just making things better. It should fix alot of issues present in 1.4.4 such as the flat BP drains and insta PB counters that really pull down 1.4.4 so that public sabering becomes playable again. BP...
Looks like it will serve well as a neat introduction to new players and I wish noel the best of luck in developing this in the future.
I just want to briefly note that the 'there can be only one' philosophy with regards to guides, is rather bad. I think keeping whatever guides are posted around...
Acknowledgement.
Going 200 mph on dark country roads alone, in the middle of the night, is not the same as going 200 mph in a school zone. Both may be illegal, but they are not the same. To me the law means nothing and it cannot be blindly relied upon to provide us with moral guidance.
I think the real solution to Cyan and Blue is to slow them down slightly and give them a little more damage. I've said it many times but cyan is badly designed because of the first insta swing. Blue's nearly the same, except for the fact that blue's anims are less spastic and wonky than cyan's...
This is quite true, the thing about animations and stuff. Rock paper scissors stuff isn't all bad in sabering, but it's not my preference either. With regards to cyan and purple they've been a headache since they were added, and I am of the opinion that they should never have been added in teh...
I kind of agree. Old blue was fun to play, powerful, required a bunch of skill. Overall quite nice. However it was also very annoying to play against. I think blue style would be better suited as a style that was based on higher interrupt damage and controlling the opponent, and I think the 2...
