Didn't our original scoreboard count assist's as a 1/2 kill and eventually tally a kill point? I could have sworn they did, or maybe i'm just remembering wrong. If they did, it changed when they updated the scoreboard.

Yeah they still have the same helmet view from as far back as i can remember. You can tell they haven't been touched since the helmet HUD lines up perfectly with the old HP/AMMO bars we used to have, back when they were horizontal lines. Makes for some pretty funky game play though.
