Technical Issue Game crashes when connecting to server (Steam) (Mac)

I have JKJA launch, it opens the app properly, but when I search for a server, nothing shows up. I tried several solutions and none worked so far. Whenever I try to directly connect to a server, the game "crashes unexpectedly". Could someone possibly walk me through the install process so I can see where I messed up?

mono quit unexpectedly.
Game crashes
Mono crashes
It seems something is wrong with your system :(
No idea what repair possibilities macOS does have. If you do know some, try it.

Post screenshot of that Mono crash, post screenshot of game crash as well.
If there are any "Details" buttons, click them and copy-paste any logs/information here.

did you download the Mac version of the launcher? That's the most likely cause for Mono not being able to load it.

I think this is going to take someone with more knowledge of OSX than I. The only thing that really stands out to me is the warning right at the top about forms not working in 64bit mode. A quick search suggests adding the flag --arch=32 to the mono command or using the command mono32 to launch in 32bit mode. Other than that all I can suggest is to take whatever steps are required to restore your computer or seeking support from other Mac users in the community - discord might probably be a good place to shout.

All right then. Thanks for the assistance. I'll keep working at it.

Basically what Defiant said.
I hoped that logs would help to solve the issue, that they would have something I could google, but apparently, it didn't work this time :(
This is beyond my knowledge. No idea why the Launcher does crash.

I can only suggest to abandon MBII Launcher for a moment and try reinstalling MBII manually:
  1. Download MBII zip archive: Download
  2. Unpack it to one of these folders, depending on which JA you do have:
    Steam Version:
    /Users/YOUR_NAME/Library/Application Support/Jedi Academy
    CD Version:
    /Users/YOUR_NAME/Library/Application Support/Jedi Academy MP
Make sure you did unpack it to the correct folder.
  3. Download JKJALaunch and place it inside a folder where you put Movie Battles: Jedi Academy MP launcher for OS X - JKHub
  4. Holding Shift key, start JKJALaunch. A dialog box will appear.
  5. Browse for Jedi Academy binary. Its path usually looks like:
    /Users/YOUR_NAME/Library/Application Support/Steam/SWJKJA.app
    /Users/YOUR_NAME/Applications/Jedi Academy/SWJKJA.app
OK button will stay disabled until correct path to JA binary is entered. Be patient and find a correct file.
  6. Copy-paste to "Command Line Parameters":
    Code:
    +set fs_game MBII
    Click OK.
Make sure you didn't skip this step!
  7. Start JKJALaunch without holding Shift.
