Technical Issue Server Disconnected: Quit.

Please help.

I recently reinstalled Movie battles 2 and it seems the case that, no matter what I do, when I enter a server it will be mere seconds before I am forcefully disconnected and given the message.

"Error: Server disconnected: quit:" and then in red text it says, underneath the first statement. "Please start the game via launcher and keep it running!" Even though both of these demands have been complied with.

And any searching that I have done into this issue has resulted in no succesful remedies. So please, for the sake of somebody that has spent hours trying to fix this issue. Any help will be wholly appreciated.

I don't know what to say but to just make sure your launcher is running.

I already keep my launcher running, as I said earlier. I require some other advice other than just telling me to "keep my launcher open" when I already do that.

Is your launcher in the game folder?

MBII Launcher => Settings => uncheck "Steam integration" (skip if there's no such checkbox) => Engine => MBII Client => Play.

It's a duck tape solution, but sometimes it helps.
