With what program can i open the recorded demos i record ingame ? i tried using VLC and media player but it wont work any suggestions ?

You go in game or in demo editor/jamme, and Play > Demo.

The data type isn't really a "video," it's more like data that records every event that happened during the life. The file can only be "played back" by the game itself, which essentially "re-lives" the life.
