Technical Issue No Servers?

I am running MBII 1.4.4 on my mac and I can't seem to get the server list loaded. I tried the "shift + ~" then "/connect" and pasted server IP but nothing happens. This is my first time trying to join a server do I have to do something first? When I open Jamp it shows there are people online than it will say 0 available server... Help please!

At the top of your server list, are all of these options ticked to these settings? ALSO, is Source: Internet ticked?

Check network settings, make sure they are optimized
