... Well that may be a problem. I was never actually using the freaking Launcher that came with the download, I just put the mod in my steam folder and all that.

Installed the entire launcher, and NOW everything works completely fine. Strange how some situations just... Have a really simple solution...

I was never actually using the freaking Launcher that came with the download, I just put the mod in my steam folder and all that.

Now you have to use Launcher whether you like it or not, due the anti-cheat system.
Unless you're on Linux or Mac.
