Saber
  • Fix: Fixed a bug where the saber bounding box was the incorrect size.
  • Fix: Fix blue and cyan styles now lose the correct amount of ACC when bodyhit. Reduced from 3 to 2.
  • Fix: Blocking animations will no longer incorrectly block input.
  • Fix: Mblocks will now correctly trigger blocking anims allowing halfswings to once again occur after mblocks.
  • Fix: Manual mblocking anims will no longer prevent automatic blocking anims from being played when the automatic block anim chosen by the system is the same as the one already being played.
  • Fix: PB Indicator will no longer become stuck.
  • Fix: Duals with only the offhand saber will no longer get blocked by other people with their sabers off.
  • Fix: Blocking animations now properly lock input for 200ms when interrupted (in starts/transitions/bounces), versus both saber swings and gunshots.

Blocking animations now properly lock input for 200ms when interrupted (in starts/transitions/bounces), versus both saber swings and gunshots.
I'm not sure I'm reading this correctly; does this mean that when you get interrupted (in saber vs saber) OR flinched during the interrupt window, the resulting blocking animation will NOT allow you to counter/half-swing?

If that was the original intended behavior for this version of flinch, it makes a little more sense: if you manage to get a full swing out but it gets flinched, you can re-swing, but if you just start a swing and get interrupted, you CAN'T just spam re-swings over and over.

(The pure button-mash faceroll flinch re-swings of 1.5.1 really frustrated me so if this hotfix improves that then it's a big deal, to me.)

It just basically reverts the behaviour to v1.5, so you are still able to do a halfswing, but only after 200ms of being locked in the block anim instead of instantly.

I am not quite sure what this means. Does this mean the situation when the other saber is thrown? Even then I don’t really get it.

Anyways sounds like a solid fix patch

I think it means, yes, if you'd thrown away one saber, attacks with the other saber could be auto-blocked by someone who was running/walking with a saber out, but not lit... I think? That's my interpretation.

If thats the case then I dont like it. Sounds kinda far fetched to ”fix” something that doesnt really affect the gameplay. I mean, has anyone ever complained about this feature? Only thing that this kind of ”fix” does is remove a small bit of fun out of this game.

The bug was that someone with saber OFF could block attacks with BP from a dual user with his offhand saber only.

Ah okay, didnt know such bug existed. Thought it meant that off hand saber swings would be ignored by any1 with saber on.

I have noticed that Commander Keller (That caped Para-Trooper ARC skin) is using the Jedi Outcast's Stormtrooper Commander voice lines. I have also noticed that it sounds very close to Dee Bradley Baker's TCW Clone voice. Can we have it on all Clones instead and by that make Boss' voice lines more original? Also, AshuraDX's Clone model is way better than the one we have now. I'm simply asking for what Peneke did to the Clone and B1 Battle Droid voice lines with an eventual release of improved Clone Trooper models.

We re currently working on updating all the clone and arc troopers to use ashuras model. It will take a little bit of time though, as we have create new meshes for the other trooper types, (such as phase 1, and the variety of other specialist accessories and armour types). We will be looking into updating the sounds as well.

Could you please change the Pistol holding stance to Jedi Academy's original one as well? Also will we be able to change blaster skins? Using the Saberist hilt menu, but... Well... With blasters. Who wouldn't want to walk around with F-11D as an Imperial Stormtrooper or the upcoming E-22 instead of T-21?

Going back to Clone Trooper voice, I suggest that the mentioned Stormtrooper Commander lines from Jedi Outcast would do the trick.
