Technical Issue Launcher says not enough space

I just downloaded the launcher and placed it in the gamedata folder and when I try to run it, it says "Not enough space on hard drive!"
The game requires 3GB. My harddrive has 501 free, which is more than enough. Any help would be appreciated

Same happened to me at about 4-5 Gb free space, although it usually started working for me after I would free about 7-10 Gb

Is it downloading to the correct directory? Although it is supposed to download to the directory the launcher is in, there is a chance that it isn't in this case.

In my case it is. At least, after I free disk space.
