Technical Issue - Different luminosity

Since I installed this game and changed the luminosity, it has changed my display luminosity. I mean, everyting I do is lighter. Discord, facebook, steam, everything is lighter and harder to read. I even plug my TV (in case it was my screen) and it did the same thing. Anybody can help ?

I'm just getting more tired of having to redownload it to fix the brightness issues on exit tbh

Specifically My PC? or ingame?
I7-5820K processor
1080 Nvidia
Windows 10
16 RAM

INGAME
3440x1440 / ASUS 120HZ
Brighness about 70% slider
Can't really think of something more important to say around this, not so much an issue anyway just an annoyance

i imagine it has to do with jka engine but still

Try playing with r_gammaShaders 1.
Engine related, so please specify which you are using ("jamp" or "OpenJK") as well as OS.

Most likely what needs to happen is a gamma cleanup routine needs to be added somewhere.
