Force Sense Suggestion

I don't think this has been posted since I checked, but if it has I'm sorry. And if this is already in the mod, I haven't really noticed it.

Anyway, I was thinking that if a jedi/sith has force block 3, I think that should also block out an opposing jedi/sith's to sense them, or, at least, to do so with a high force point level (ex. FP below 50 can be detected even with force block 3).

Another way it could work is that a jedi/sith with force block 3 cannot be sensed unless the oppossing jedi/sith has sense 3.

I have no problem with the mechanics for sense as they are now, but I just figured it may add some realism or more of a challenge to the mod. Thoughts?

Old argument of time-wasting spammers.
-------------
I'd alter it so that they'd be still be visible but only in a certain arc, meaning you'd have to look for them to show on your screen and radar.
-------------
Or maybe just render them immune from radar but not body outlines. They could still hide to an extent.
-------------
Or, only when holding block and remaining perfectly still:)
-------------
Or an active power that remains on for a certain amount of time, like seeing. You would not be able to regen force as long as it was active. I'd add a cone of silence so no one could hear your footsteps or saber.

I actually like the sound of this, as long as the cone isn't too narrow.

For me, seeing should be only in FA

Seeing is most of the times a really huge part of gameplay. I don't see any valid arguments for it to be limited to FA.
And that's me, using only Level 1 Sense.
I like the idea by OP, build up on with Chaos, not really bad at all. But I would go with thea idea of the need to have a blocking stance for Sense to be - "penetrating".

Lore-wise, hiding in the force was a separate discipline, hard to master and even harder to perform with 100% success (thats why yoda et all were hiding in places strong in the opposite side of the force, to help "masking" their presence - dark side cave, etc). I don't think it would fit our "generic" open mode jedis, that are your regular jedi grunt, despite heroic skin that they may have (unlike some FA ones, which are indeed specialists sometimes, and "hiding in the force" would be interesting, sneaky character).

I think in this case lore can go aside, because seeing is in my opinion totally okay in the open mode.

Hm? I think I was talking about immunity to being "seen", not seeing itself? The latter is, actually, pretty easy lore-wise and our generic jedis should have it. Even newbie Luke was able to sense Vader, not to mention various completely untrained individuals (subconsciously, many times) sensing other living, non-force sensitive individuals.
