Can't Reproduce First elevator from reb spawn on mb2_commtower not working

The elevator is broken and you can neither activate it from above or below

You can, you just didn't pay for the MB2 Deluxe Elevator package meaning you can not use it.

I am unable to replicate this. Worked fine for me as both rebels and imperials.

The last time I played commtower, which wasn't too long ago, it definitely worked as well for multiple people.

Happened sunday at an open event, it just didn't activate at all no matter how many times we tried. Maybe it's just an extremely rare glitch though

I can recall certain map elements not functioning properly on certain maps on certain servers on certain patches. One thing I'd suggest is to repair installation on the server which runs your map.
