Technical Issue Everything is just white and this is a launcher issue as well

Everything is just white boxes, the HUD is all messed up,the guns don't show up,the cursor is just a white box. Oh and when I set the launcher to MBIIClient and click play,it tells me to run as administrator which I did that and it STILL tells me to do it. Last thing, whenever I try to open mbii.x86.exe it says it's not a valid win32 application. Help me please!

btw your JA should be patched to 1.01, if it's not already.
Download patch here:
http://jkhub.org/files/file/73-jedi-academy-patch-pc/
or here:
Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy: Patch 1.01 zum Download - 4Players.de
or here:
Patch 1.01 - Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Downloads | GameWatcher

Please try to run mbii.x86.exe one more time:
  1. Right-click on mbii.x86.exe, select Properties, Compatibility tab, check "Run program as administrator", OK.
  2. Start MBII Launcher, select MBII client in settings, click play.
Another thing I want you to do:
  1. Create new .bat file in "C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData".
  2. Open it with notepad, insert following line:
    Code:
    start jamp +set logfile 3 +set fs_game "MBII"
    , save file.
  3. Run .bat file you've created. Movie Battles should be launched.
  4. Quit Movie Battles.
  5. Upload file "C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII\qconsole.log" to this thread.

Here's this problem,I can only create a match using JAMP and can't join one. MBIIClient won't even work.

Here's the log, still tells me to run as admin when I select MBIIClient.
I asked you to repeat "Repair installation" before, please do it.
Run MBII Launcher, click Settings, check "Enable logging", click "Repair installation". Zip "Program Files\JediAcademy\GameData\MBII_Launcher\logs" directory, upload archive to this thread (or just post latest log to this thread).

If after repair issue still would be there, do following:
  1. If you have opengl32.dll in "C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData", move it to some unrelated folder, but don't delete.
  2. Copy opengl32.dll from "C:\WINDOWS\system32" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData"
  3. Run game using .bat file you've created.
  4. Post new qconsole.log here.

I have 2 opengl32.dll,one is the one that is already in it the other is to make the vanilla game work,do I move both? The one that makes the base game works takes more kbs btw.

You can't have 2 files with same name in one folder.
What is kbs?

And please repair installation first.

Another thing I want you to do:
  1. Create new shortcut for Jedi Academy\GameData\jasp.exe.
  2. Right-click on this new shortcut, "Propertires", add to "Target" field, just after jasp.exe (space required):
    Code:
     +set logfile 3
    , OK.
  3. Launch that shortcut, single-player JA should start.
  4. Play Jedi Academy, making sure everything works fine.
  5. Upload file "Jedi Academy\GameData\base\qconsole.log" to this thread.

nevermind one is openAL and one is openGL nevermind! and the repair takes as look as it installs so it takes awhile

KBs is space, just below mega bytes. the opengl32's,one of them all has lowercase letters, the other has an uppercase letter, the lowercase letter one takes more space than the uppercase one,so move both of them?

And it's repairing right now, takes awhile for some reason.
Case doesn't matter, still no way there is two file with saem names in one folder. Names are different, maybe some file has a space, underscore or extra dot which you can't see.

But before you take any action with opengl, read my previous post and do stuff with jasp.

Still repairing, takes as long as it installs, and there's no log in base and I already put in
+set logfile 3
I'll wait until the repair is done then I'll do all the things you told me. And I need to go out to eat dinner,I'll do the things when I get back.

Please make a screenshot of properties of link for jasp.
And you should launch jasp using created link, not jasp.exe itself.

Search qconsole.log somewhere in C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base

Also do what you see on screenshots in this message, with exception do it on "C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts" folder, not "Medieval" folder.
And change permissions both for Administrators and Users, not just Users.

Summarizing this thread, I can say the following:
  • Your MBII installation was seriously damaged at first time, so I asked you to repair again because I suspected something could damaged it again.
  • I was wondered that you can run Jedi Academy, but have issues with Movie Battles. I was hoping that log of jasp, compared to jamp, would give me some clues.
  • According to your log, there is serious problem with OpenGL. Instead of physical video card, game rendered with GLDirect which is software that maps OpenGL to DirectX. Screenshot in this thread shows that mapping performed poorly, so I was going to ask you uninstall GLDirect.
  • Intel graphics is known by their buggy handling OpenGL and lack of drivers for Windows 10 (yes, I aware this topic is about Windows 7), so I was going to suggest you to reinstall drivers.

I know this isn't a MBII problem but....I can't play JA anymore, when ever I load a game,it says "Error: menu file not found:1,using default" and I typed cg_hudfiles 1 and that probably caused that, tried cg_hudfiles 0 (which is the default) but now it says the same error but with "0",could you help...? Oh and I only have 3 model mods,I'm pretty sure 3 isn't enough to cause this issue.

Well since JA worked before and now it doesn't, best solution would be to remember/find out what was changed between last successful launch and first unsuccessful.

If this is impossible, I would suggest you to rename/move to unrelated folder file "JediAcademy\GameData\base\jaconfig.cfg", then try to launch game.

If this will not work, reinstalling Jedi Academy could be the answer. Maybe its files got broken by some reason.

I did say I typed cg_hudfiles 1 in the console,pretty sure that's the problem,and I reinstalled the game over 3 times now.
