Brief introduction
Hello. If you're reading this then I'm sure you're wanting to know what Consortium is about, how it works and what it has to offer. You can find all of that and more directly below. If you have further questions, feel free to ask in our Discord server or the General thread on our very own forums!

What is Consortium?
Consortium is a clan devised from 4 members of the MBII community - Myself, GASHTi, Luc and Zeroes.

Our main focus intends on teaching new players and / or enhancing the skill of already knowledgeable players. We offer a unique twist that involves a dedicated Master-Apprentice training system, open & FA events as well as weekly training events for dueling, a laid-back group of great members and are constantly looking to better not only ourselves but the mod and dueling scene.

Furthermore, we allow the ability to skip ranks depending on your skill level and overall attitude towards the clan... Something many clans strictly prohibit, so no more tedious trials or useless display of clear, superior skill.

What does Consortium have to offer?

  • A unique progression system
  • Weekly training events
  • A wide group of diverse, great members
  • A dedicated Master-Apprentice system, your progression is totally down to your master and your master alone
  • Our very own Discord server
  • Our very own dedicated dueling server (Consortium Duel) for public use and clan events.

How does one progress?
Weekly training events:
We offer group-training every Saturday at 19:00pm (GMT+1), focusing on Master vs Master demonstrations, group activities, council evaluations, voice chat explanations on techniques and styles & loads more. It really helps engage members allowing for a lot of laughs, knowledge and a feeling of accomplishment

Masters & Apprentices:
Training is mainly maintained by the Savant's of the clan, who will take on up to 3 students and train them from Trainee, all the way up until their own student is a Savant themselves. As mentioned before, it is entirely up to the Savant when their student(s) advance through the ranks. The council will assess the training of students at every training event and will only intervene if the training is agonizingly slow, extremely fast or if the Master / Apprentice do not get along with each other. Masters are also tasked with keeping the Council up to date with their student's progression so nothing ever unfolds into a massive mess; other Master's or Augur's may offer advice and demonstrate technique's but shall never teach another colleague's pupil.

Most clans, if not all, will allow for any superior rank to teach anyone below them. For many, this is an unorthodox way to train someone as they end up with so much information and styles that they simply don't know what to do or focus on and quickly lose motivation to play MBII. Consortium offers a clean, simple, unique way to teach members and to keep them involved with the mod / clan whilst also permitting members to create their own unique dueling styles.

Council:
As stated numerous times, our progression is very unique. The council will never really intervene in the teaching of a student unless it is going way too fast or way too slow. The council's job is to simply maintain order within the clan - sorting disputes, keeping civil ties with other clans and the community, enlisting members and etc. Augur's do however get the option to take on a singular apprentice should they want to teach, but only one. This is simply so they don't get overwhelmed by keeping the clan in check and watching over another members entire training.

Conclusion
All in all, Consortium is a rather laid-back clan but we still put in all of our effort to give players a great experience, to keep them engaged and to keep the experience fresh. Feel free to ask questions or shit talk in the comments below, I'll be sure to read them. As you were x

Is this because you failed the "Swingblock a 2 hit combo 3 times in a row" trial in cult?

TIN^1|^0MSTR Karus^1.
It's beyond me why you're even allowed on these forums tbh.
The only thing you care about is reaction score and pissing other people off.
You have problems.
