Title pretty much sums it up. Everything's set to be writable, despite Win 10's best efforts.

Search Results for Query: VM_Create on UI failed | Movie Battles II Community
There are lots of people who experience such problem, try searching through the forum. ^ That's a link.

The solutions I got online seem to be largely use "OpenGL.dll", which allows me to launch JAMP and get ingame, but starting a round will return "CL_ParseServerMessage" and causes OpenJK to crash on map load. This is as I type, so, going to poke at other nonrotation servers and see if it persists. Attempting to start from launcher does, well, nothing. Repairing the installation got me nowhere. Searching for the error message was the first thing I did.

The last log is not a crash log.

Sorry, console log more appropriate, I guess?

You better not use any non-officially provided opengl32.dll. Just update your graphics drivers and remove that opengl32.dll. And show the console log w/o that opengl32.dll.

Very common issue for Win10 users and MBII. I had no crash problems on Windows 8 then updated to 10 and couldn't launch JKA without using OpenJK. Currently I use the setting "MBII Client" in my launch options (which launches through OpenJK) and I have no issues with OpenGL crashes. Related to your graphic drivers, not sure what specifically but there's some type of confliction.

James Earl Jones recently posted about the same error and to my knowledge he found a way to fix it. Maybe try to contact him and see if he has any suggestions. Technical Issue - Windows 10 MB2 Problem

Went ahead and just renamed all ".dll" files that I didn't see specifically referenced by the game to ".abc" so they'd not get read and while JAMP doesn't work, OpenJK no longer crashes on map change.
