Censorship and bending rules.

Hello,

I will keep it brief.

Posting memes in the #nonsense channel on our official Discord is officially prohibited. I have been kicked off the Discord for doing so.

I feel like someone has been bending rules for own reasons. I have been using Discord just for memes (quite long) and for contacting a very few people. If you are a part of that whole "family friendly" thing well okay. Just it might be a bad idea since our numbers are around 500 or less and we are above 18. Guidelines for our Discords state what is allowed and what is not however, Community is on a Discord as well here on Forums and what intrigues me is that the funny pictures thread contains mostly the same stuff it has not been taken down due to not being hurting. Sounds strange. Why is the same content fine on forums and not fine on Discord?

According to what happened to me and Kwinto too apparently, joking about religion is a bad thing. These jokes are the best so it is pretty sad we have to suddenly stop after doing so for so long our Discord was pretty much alive thanks to this so cutting up veins might not improve the situation.

Also, I have given up on my Beta Tester status hoping I could continue posting... but sadly no.
I like to be treated fairly and it felt like a mood of certain someone I do not want to volounteer under someone like that.

Well, whatever. I will continue posting in to funny pictures thread.
Fun will prevail.

I am not very familiar with the goings-on in discord, but it seems to be a very bad thing indeed, to ban people for postings in a channel specifically dedicated to 'nonsense'. Since you seem to be a connoisseur of memes, you should check out count dankula and try to get into his public discord. You'll have a veritable army of shitposters with whom to engage.

In the mean time.
Censorship is bad.
PC slowly strangles anything it touches, as does SJW ideology.
Small community kept afloat by people from all walks of life, bad idea to perma ban and ostracize folks. (From game servers and other places).
Being offended does not constitute an argument.

I wanna write more but no time. I could write essays on this stuff. I will be very sad if this thread is locked or deleted as soon as a dev sees it cause the point is fair. We are a small community. Do not engage in self-destructive acts.

Yep, Totally haven't changed DOTFv2's side routes 4 times total because of not listening to testers. Great point there ma dude.

It is up to everyone individually to decide what is racist, memes are beyond racism noone was ever posting "that one group should all root" there was no genuinely hate oriented material so I find this whole farse a triggering of one single person that must have pulled the strings afterwards.

Honorable mentions of the #nonsense channel: immigration crisis, elections, feminnism, genders, greed, hipocrisy, politicians, war crimes, facebook tards. Do not make it look like someone was hating on particular race. All of them were given some love. I will repeat, mostly the contents of Funny Pictures thread from THIS forum.

Why is the same content acceptable in only one of two places? I will answer because someone does not care in the end and this all was a whim.

I am a BG member in-game, on official forums and on official discord server. Everywhere else I am a guy who does whatever the heck he wants to.

And this analogy is completely unrelated. You aren't supposed to ignore a dying person because it's common sense to help them. Now, if a doctor is required to be polite to people when he's on his shift, surely he won't be polite to everybody at all times, don't you agree?

What the hell happened to memes? Like yo, whenever I go online these days it's like I opened up a funny pictures chain e-mail. The content being distributed is so fucking old that they probably can't even remember the names of their grandkids. Get good, dear memers. Heck, get creative and make your god damn own memes like WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE RARWARWAR.
