Knockback, FP drains, and damage reduction are all at the very top of the list for gameplay changes that I'm working on (I just finished de-correlating weapon damage from FP drains in the gunner beta FP drain function). Tweaks to force powers (namely Push and Sense) follow closely after.

Just lower push range by like a quarter or so, I never see anyone complaining about sense tho.

Give anti Jedi class (SBD) cortosis level 2. (Turns off lightsabers)

Double current knockback.

Increase FP drain by 33%.

Remove damage reduction completely.

Add flinch to headshots at close range.

Don't let FP regen begin until 3 seconds after the last drain.

???

Force Whores should be able to trade fp to block blaster bolts with their hands.

That's about the only buff that is reasonable or called for, unless we go way left field and add true support classes. (Healers, etc)

Is it? Wookie slap knocks down. Push knocks down. Insta nade knocks down. Cort 2 would just deactivate saber. A jedi still has mobility.

It's not as relentless as blob, grip, et al. Cort 2 was always mild compared with other attacks in game, and we are talking about an anti-class here.

What I feel would be great for the game in general is more diversity in how you build your class.

This would be following the basic principle of risk/reward choices, where choosing to specialise your class would result in shortcomings to other areas.

For example soldier class: let's say they have a bunch more options with levels of close combat, gunbash, faster recovery that kind of thing. For that specialisation they would sacrifice their ability to do well in longer range fights.

There are many concepts that already exist in classes that I think could be expanded to give more possible archetypes of each class, possibly a faster running sbd to sacrifice resistance/firepower/hp, expanding levels of close combat and dexterity to more classes, mandalorian speccing into either jetpack, heavy armour (SBD resistances), or a more gadget type build. More diversity within classes would be one of the best ways to move forward imo - instead of adding more classes just adding more routes for current ones to follow.
