Uninstalled everything and then reinstalled jedi academy to the default Steam game directory. Downloaded the MBII Launcher and placed that in my GameData. Installed it like normal. I have JAMP client selected. Launch the game and make it 1920x1080. Enable Widescreen UI. Load up a match. IT...

I tried the mov_ratioFix command. Found out that all it seems to do is what the widescreen UI setting is doing. In fact, after using mov_ratioFix 1, it'd turn widescreen UI: on, and doing mov_ratioFix 0 would make the setting widescreen UI: off. So it appears that won't help me here sadly...

We'll, I didnt go into it much, but I tested it a bit and it was stretched iirc. I'll have to double check though (because I may have not checked to see if widescreen UI was enabled). Odd thing though, when I tried jamp a little bit, I didnt receive any error even though I don't have jka...

And have you selected jamp or the MBII client?

On and off does nothing to the hud, but I notice it changes one very small thing. The cursor. Here are the configs that I believe are of any significance.

Find the following using the ctrl+f and switch it to the following: seta r_mode "-1" seta r_customwidth "1920" seta r_customheight "1080" Add this line to the bottom of the file: seta cg_fov "95" Make sure to save the file too.

Yeah that is understandable. Thank you all for the help. I'm not home at the moment so I can't test it out just yet, but once I get it sorted out I'll update the post as solved.

If that is your screenshot, then it looks like you do indeed have stretched hud. Mine looks just like that. Going off of what @Puppytine showed, it seems running it with the jamp client will fix the issue

Okay thanks for clearing that up. So unless I get the launcher to run the jamp client using those methods, I can't have the fixed hud? Also, would having it run through Steam prevent me from playing the vanilla jamp (unless I undo it)?

I don't mind using the launcher. If the hud stretching is determined by which client I'm using (jamp or MBII), I may just have to deal with it. But as it is, MBII is the only one that works for me, which you previously pointed out as well, because I have the steam version.

It might also be worth noting that for some odd reason after installing mb2, my original steam versions of jasp and jamp somehow switched (so if I wanna play singleplayer I gotta open jamp, and if I want to play multiplayer I have to open jasp).

I bought jedi academy through Steam. Mb2 doesn't have the steam overlay, but I don't care about that. In the mb2 game launcher I have the MBII client selected instead of jamp because apparently jamp won't work with steam versions (which seems to be true because I get an error when trying it).

Really? Well iirc, I would have an error show up when trying to launch the game when I tried using the jamp. It only seemed to launch when I used the MB2 client.

So I did everything as usual to get widescreen and it is working fine, but I still have a noticeable issue. My hud is still stretched out. I went into setup and found an option called widescreen UI fix or something like that, but that doesn't appear to change anything. Anyone know how to fix...

Unfortunately I have just a basic mouse. Any other keys you would recommend that wouldn't interfere with any of the other vital actions?
