The reason why nobody has suggested tying PB zones to lightsaber attacks is "shaking mouse left/right like idiot", which will cause only a few attacks to be used and then you just yaw them to make it impossible to PB. Atleast if PB is tied to the model you've got a chance to PB yawed swings...

Yeah, don't use cyan overhead it's not good. When you parry, your swings hit the opponents swings in mid-air and they clash. There is a clash sound and a white flash. The sound is quite distinct so it should be easy to see when you parry or are parried.

Yeah, they changed it so that you can hold both mouse buttons without walk and not show that you're Mblocking. as Helix said, it doesn't make a difference in terms of disarm, you can do it with or without walk.

Have you updated Jedi academy to patch 1.01 ? That might be causing it. Also, launching MBII from jamp.exe -> choosing MBII mod in the mod menu will also cause the jesus bug and other visual problems. Have you tried /vid_Restart will in-game to see if the jesus bug goes away or the game crashes...

The base game needs to be patched to 1.01 always afaik, but I'm not sure about the mac version. I have the original discs and the only thing needed for me is to use them to install, patch it, install MBII and then I'd be ready to go. Problem is, I don't know if there's gonna be some macfuckery...
