Technical Issue Crashing when trying to join a team in MP

This is (probably) fine. This is (probably) consequences of "Steam renaming thing", which is necessary to run Movie Battles with Steam integration. You should stop verifying files via Steam, and you should start repairing installation via MBII Launcher: MBII Launcher => Settings => check...

    [SOLVED] Crash to desctop

Oh god Jesus Christ no Why you did you do this? It stated multiple times on these forums that people should avoid this kind of stuff. You probably installed GLDirect, which is OpenGL-via-DirectX emulator. It causes fps decrease, visual glitches and sometimes, even crashes. Delete it immediately...

    Technical Issue issues running mb2

That doesn't make any sense tbh. Try clicking mbii.x86.exe directory -- it isn't supposed to start MBII correctly anyway, but I wanna know what exact result will be. So far I suspect you either have badly functioning antivirus, or permissions of your Windows account is restricted, or there's a...

Try starting play_mbii_customojk.bat that is in GameData and tell us what happens after that.

    Technical Issue issues running mb2

You didn't really answer for on my suggestion -- switch to jamp, then click play. What happened after that, exactly? Also, are you able to play base Jedi Academy?

    Technical Issue issues running mb2

The path you can see at the top of the window, does it really match with an actual path where your GameData is? Please check it carefully Also, try picking jamp instead of MBII Client in Engine combo box and see will Movie Battles be able to start after that.

    Technical Issue issues running mb2

Do you start MBII Launcher from this exact folder? Does MBII Launcher start normally? Do you still have the same issue (nothing is happening when Play is being clicked), or now it's something different? Post a screenshot of MBII Launcher => Settings.

    Technical Issue issues running mb2

There is neither MBIILauncher.exe not MBII_Patcher.dll in your GameData folder. Redownload MBII Launcher and EXTRACT BOTH files from .zip archive to GameData. Start MBIILauncher.exe ONLY from GameData, not from .zip file.

Technical Issue Trying to run mb2 on linux

Forget about mono and MBII Launcher, they currently aren't going to work on Linux. The fact you ever getting kicked with "... keep Launcher running" message means you're running Windows version of MBII via emulator. Forget about any attempts of using any emulators like Wine, Proton, Cedega etc...

Make sure you actually have Jedi Academy (not Jedi Outcast) installed. MBII Launcher => Settings => check "Enable logging" => Repair installation. Post latest log from "Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII_Launcher\logs" here.

Third party Launcher is not compatible with Steam's custom installation folders

Maybe there is. But I want to point out there is already some dirty patching done; When Jedi Academy is installed in default Steam directory, just to make it run, MBII Launcher swaps jamp.exe and jasp.exe before each launch, and it renames them back when Launcher is getting shut down. Without...
