If you notice when you run MBII with the launcher it's actually running jasp.exe. The launcher renames jamp to jasp, so it no doubt makes a temporary copy of either one of the files during the process where it's renaming them. I'll note this solution down for the launcher, not really sure why...

If I remember correctly, all saber special moves, those being ones that require and expend force points to use, parry swings within the defense arc. So this is intended.

Actually, I had this problem as well, and it's the reason I'm currently not running Windows 10. I haven't experienced this in Windows 7 or 8.1 so far, but on Windows 10 it made playing ARC and Mando really unappealing.

There isn't an installer for 1.6, you download it and move it wherever you want to use it. I personally haven't used 1.5 so I can't help you there, but I'd recommend getting 1.6 working.
