[SOLVED] Problems with getting mb2 to run with mac

Sad... that doesn't make situation more clear :( ok, let's forget about MBII Launcher for some time. MBII can run on Mac without it. Download Movie Battles and put it (content of archives, not archives itself!) inside "/Users/YOUR_NAME/Library/Application Support/Jedi Academy" manually (unfold...

[SOLVED] Problems with getting mb2 to run with mac

Is that all text you've got? If there is more, copy everything here. Are you sure you did put "MBIILauncher.exe" into "/Users/YOUR_NAME/Library/Application Support/Jedi Academy"?

[SOLVED] Problems with getting mb2 to run with mac

But why do you even want to find a Mono? I think you no need to deal with folders for Mono after you've installed it, you need only place MBIILauncher.exe to a correct folder, as I've described already. Have tried typing this, literally?: cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Jedi\ Academy; mono...

[SOLVED] Problems with getting mb2 to run with mac

Having Mono installed won't make your MacOS launch .exe files. You must start Mono explicitly, passing path to Win32/.NET application as a command line parameter. That's described in Installation & Troubleshooting Guide: No, you no need CD to play mb2 on mac. Steam is fine. Even though guide...

Technical Issue Need help for an error message

MBII Launcher => Settings => check "Enable logging" => Repair installation. Post latest log from "Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII_Launcher\logs" here. MBII Launcher => Settings => uncheck "Steam integration" (skip if there's no such checkbox) => Engine => MBII Client => Play. Post a screenshot of...

    Launcher Launcher issue

MBII Launcher => Settings => uncheck "Steam integration" => Engine => MBII Client => Play. If you still can't see Engine, post a screenshot of Settings. Indeed you can't find temp.exe, you're supposed to rename jamp.exe to jasp.exe and jasp.exe to jamp.exe using temp.exe as a temporary...

    Launcher Launcher issue

tl;dr: MBII Launcher => Settings => Engine => MBII Client => Play. ========================== This error usually occurs when content of original jasp.exe is launched instead of jamp.exe. Important: in Task Manager it will be jasp.exe either way, due how Steam do things. Both, MBII Launcher and...

    Suggestions for 1.5

Maybe it isn't, but creating a thread full of arguments those were already discussed isn't a best idea, too. You simply ignored everything that was said in previous threads, and started a huge duplicated topic. Do you really think your suggestions may pass if you just put them in one single...

    Launcher Mono won't open

I hope you understand that after setting up command line option and clicking OK, you have to run JKJALaunch once again, without holding shift? If that won't help, make sure you do have SWJKJA.app inside "/Applications" directory. If you don't, search that file and set a correct path in JKJALaunch.

    Launcher Mono won't open

I'm not sure what you did, but if you still don't have MBII Launcher working, you should consider moving your MBII folder and "MBIILauncher.exe" to proper location, because I believe you currently have a mess in your directory structure. To get models fixed, you probably need to use JKJALaunch...

    Launcher Mono won't open

That means you've really placed Movie Battles and Launcher in wrong folder. Still weird, those look like they were made somewhere in the deep of a bundle/sandbox, and I need screenshots started from root of your hard drive. I want screenshots of these folders, at least (you'll probably need to...

    Launcher Mono won't open

Your screenshots look a little weird for me (though I'm not a mac user, I will try to help you anyway): At first, could you make a screnshots where full path to "Application Support\Jedi Academy" is visible? Where is "Application Support"? It is supposed to be in "Users\usm\Library" (usm is...

    Server List and Mouse?

Do you have GLDirect installed? If you do, reinstall videocard's drivers and make sure there is no opengl32.dll in "Jedi Academy\GameData".

    [SOLVED] Launcher won't open

Yes. Where did you place Launcher? It should be in "Jedi Academy\GameData", but it is already there, try moving it to "C:\", start Launcher from there. Also, redownload the Launcher, maybe your file is broken. Try disabling your antivirus, maybe it's conflicting with Launcher.

    [SOLVED] Launcher won't open

Save your configs to safe place: "Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII\jampconfig.cfg" "My Documents\My Games\OpenJK\MBII\openjk.cfg" Try removing those folders: "Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII_Launcher" "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Movie_Battles_Team" After that, start Launcher. It will be said...
