[SOLVED] Unsupported marker type 0x3c

My buddy and me were playing this game for around 4 hours yesterday without issue, then suddenly today whenever he tries to join a server, the game crashes to desktop and displays that message. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Open Launcher > Setting > Check "Enable Logging" > Close the settings tab, then paste the log here. (Should be in your GameData folder for JKA)

Try repairing your installation through the launcher. It looks like a file is corrupted.

Thanks man, i got him to do this and it worked after him getting a couple of strange error signs. took a while though
