Just some thoughts and my opinion. Over all I feel like this build is a breath of fresh air. ITs the first time I have played in 3 year where every one was not using the same style {yellow}. In fact no one style seem to be left out. Its great while some styles match up better with others. but that's how it should be. i am sure not every one feels the same but this is just my opinion.

Blue: F eels good at first I was not sure but once I use the perks. It became very rewarding for patience and defense. Also the fact its not so spamy only adds to it.

cyan: no longer feels like a wet noodle. also not spamy any more. It can feel a bit strong at times but once you understand the perks. it become. less random also you see its weakness. I fell cyan is much like blue is specialist style with is great.

Yellow: fell strong still but not more so then the rest. It has great reach speed and still the best move set.

Staff: This is the only one I am unsure of I want to like it. I like directions of the spin moves is going. but at this point not sure the movement and dam changes are not making that much deference. I still need to play with it some more .but idea is on the right path. P.s what is with the animation were you throw your staff behind you back always seem point less.

Duals: Feels good I like the fact that it rewards an overwhelming type play style with out seeming spamy

purple: I think has the most change. the speed alone make it so much better. I think it will be the one for the masters. Time will tell.

RED: At first it seemed very op. but once you understand it Its not. As long as you don't stand in front of it. it well be the community new favorite.

Like i said this is just my feed back. i know there is stuff that need fix animations and other s but for a base. its made me want to play all the time. On that note please leave the sever up its been a blast. also maybe some notes on perks and stuff i do not have the discord like. keep up the good work.

I'm a big fan of Tempest's patch for 2 main reasons. Having perks for saber styles again and allowing ACM to be built up quickly again. Those two things are the core ingredients for a good and fun patch in my opinion.

Having perks for each saber style gives people more tools to work with which in turn creates unique playstyles. Beyond them simply being fun to utilize, they create more variety and give people more opportunities to work on strategy. Without perks people tend to resort to the same metas and cheeky exploits. It works away from the direction of balance and pans techniques and playstyles far into one corner.

Having ACM be built quickly again both brings back the tug of war feeling of duels and makes 1vX a lot more possible.

When ACM can be built fairly quickly, the nature of how people approach duels is impacted significantly. It is a tug of war back and forth for who gains more ACM. If you start to lose the battle, you still have a chance to catch a rhythm/momentum and gain back the upper hand. Then, when the right amount of ACM is gained, one can quickly end the duel with a well placed combo. This is superior to the current meta in the live patch, which tends to play out as solely fishing for interrupts or slaps, to then completely decimate the opponents block points.

In the past when ACM was gained quickly, there was a method to surviving and/or winning a 1vX fight. You would build your ACM on one opponent while keeping him between you and the other opponent. Then, you could switch opponents, and quickly take care of the previous opponent with a combo at the right time because you built ACM on him. You could then dispatch the remaining opponent(s) and continue that process. It felt balanced, and difficult but possible. (ACM also allows you to deal enough damage to an opponent to make them take a step back, and cease their attack because they need to regen, small things like this play largely into the pace and feel of a battle like that. Rather than your opponents never needing to take a breath.)

Currently, with the damage values on interrupts while it simultaneously taking 6 consecutive swings in order to build ACM with yellow, throwing a swing during a 1vX fight in the current patch is more or less a bad idea/strategy. The risk/reward factor for swinging is far too high of risk for far too little of a reward. Even if you did land 5 clean swings on one opponent without being hit back by them (highly unfeasible,) you would still not be dealing a very high amount of damage in return compared to the massive damage you receive for getting interrupted. And getting interrupted as you swing becomes more than twice as likely to happen to you during a 1vX. Instead you are forced to either run away and use the environment (who wants to do that as the first and main strategy?) or rely very heavily on crossing up their footwork to make them tk eachother. Which is fine, that should be done anyway even with ACM, but the fact that your offense is completely unviable turns the whole situation into far more cheese than strategy or fun.

The return of perks and of quickly gained ACM are the two most important aspects of Tempest's patch in my opinion. That and improved collision, damage not being through the roof if you're struck while downed, etc.

This is great and all but here's the question:

WHEN IS IT GOING TO BE RELEASED??!?!?!

Seriously, it's been too long. Just finish the damn build already, I'm tired of waiting.

When it is ready. It was clear during the alpha there were some issues. Tempest was doing many fixes while the alpha was going on. Then when ready with the launcher the beta for it goes, and whatever fixes from that.

You can wait.

there are still issues/bugs within the alpha. much more to be done
for sure there is a few . hope the sever comes back up I don't mind play testing. I am sure it's a lot of work with so few of people. some bugs you never see tell it's played for some time. I think its heading in the right direction. your never going to make every one happy.

Terrible build, some stances buffed to utter dogwater so you add that to script kitty's who deny it like rogue wookie and they will abuse it to the core like every so called top duelist who I've already killed multiple times abuse force pull which has no repercussion after its use unlike force push does.
