Taking certain skins from a pack

I just want a few skins from a certain pack instead of the whole thing because I don't like all of the skins. If I wanted to do so for my own personal use would that be okay and if so is there a quick easy way to do so? Thanks for any help!

Download something like pakscape or 7rar and then open the files after you've downloaded them, then delete the folders of skins you don't want.

Okay that's what I figured but I wasn't sure if that was allowed. I assume mod authors don't care as long as you don't redistribute them. Which I won't be. Thanks.

Typically with mods(for any game), once it's on your PC, you're free to tinker with and change it to your hearts content.
I would argue that sharing privately among friends is always okay, but a public release of someone else's modified work is a nono without seeking the previous authors consent or at the very least crediting them.
