Iɴᴛʀᴏᴅᴜᴄᴛɪᴏɴ - ғᴏʀ ᴛʟ;ᴅʀ, ʀᴇᴀᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ɪᴛᴀʟɪᴄ & ᴜɴᴅᴇʀʟɪɴᴇᴅ sɴɪᴘᴘᴇᴛs
Hello! I'm Rønin / Cam'. Some of you may know me from t.cult, some may know me from GJO, or J... Y4... EMP... LGN... DN... Consortium... Yeah, you get the idea. But for those that have no idea who I am; I am a 10+ year veteran of MBII (most notably for dueling & open) but on top of that, I am the best melee EU (though many don't like to admit it...) & I am bringing out yet ANOTHER clan! (You've probably already seen my other post regarding Taivas' server too) So with my very brief introduction out the way, let's get into this wall of text that will hopefully answer some of your questions about Taivas, how it works & what it has to offer
Wʜᴀᴛ ɪꜱ Tᴀɪᴠᴀꜱ?
Taivas is an EU based clan for MBII that was going to focus primarily on duel but after careful consideration decided to cover open mode too & we certainly aren't afraid to get involved with legends (maybe a little), conquest or full authentic (or any other mode for that matter). Taivas' main goal is to help teach new players the fundamentals of MBII in open & duel; honing their skills, helping them get used to the core mechanics & eventually develop their own playstyle(s). I'll also throw in the selfish fact that I'm looking for, hopefully, a new & long lasting community. A very select few friends of mine still play & even that isn't at all often, so I'd like to get to meet the new players that have joined the community since my absence or even get reacquainted with old ones
On top of that, despite the main focus being on new players & fundamentals, there will be plenty of things for the veterans of MBII to get involved with! Be it casual play with friends in other servers, teaching members to duel, teaching members classes & tactics in open, organising PUGs & scrims or hosting fun FA events; Taivas is welcome to any player of any skill level. I am striving for close relations with other clans to bring more activity to the EU PUG / scrim scene especially, but also hope for more dueling tournaments & events in general
Sᴏ... Wʜᴀᴛ ᴄᴀɴ Tᴀɪᴠᴀꜱ ᴏꜰꜰᴇʀ ᴍᴇ?
As mentioned above; there will be training events, pick-up-games, dedicated clan servers for both public use & events, a unique trial system built for advancing your rank, a community of relaxed & helpful people, an active Discord server, ins-&-outs explanations of saber styles & class configs & much more! Taivas offers an option to skip ranks & trials to drop you straight into a position that suits your skill level. In the Discord server you've got an affiliate channel to find other clans & communities easier, an event channel you can follow for notifications on public events, an announcement channel for any clan / MBII related news, clan members get direct access to the trial system / ranks & you can engage in a new active community!

The goal here is to create a community where members can really bond, learn & accomplish things together. There's always opportunity for practice, improvement & fun in Taivas

Taivas may be an ambitious clan but I am willing to put in all the effort I can to encourage new players to stick around & progress in MBII as well as keep us oldies going! Feel free to ask questions, give feedback & voice concerns in this thread, in our Discord or to me directly in DMs. I also wanted to thank a few members of the community that helped me out massively in preparation to get this clan out there. Some aren't listed as they didn't want to be mentioned but just know you're appreciated greatly & I'm thankful
