Hello,
I've whipped up a sound replacement for the Bounty Hunter character Rax.
I have my .pk3 file located here:
/MBII/zz_ChewbaccaTakingAShit.pk3
All of them are working except 2 taunts, which are not replacing properly.
The original sounds that DO play are found here:
/MBII/zz_MBModels2.pk3
- sound/chars/rax/misc (taunt1.mp3 taunt2.mp3)
These are also the only 2 sounds found in this location.
The location of the other sounds that were replaced and DO work are found here:
/base/assets0.pk3
- sound/chars/rax/misc (heaps of sounds)
Anybody know how work around this? I want to make a single .pk3 files to replace all the sounds, but for some reason taunt1.mp3 and taunt2.mp3 are still being linked in-game to the MBII folder's MBModels2.pk3 audio files.
My personal work around is to replace the sounds in that MBModels2.pk3 file but that isn't user-friendly for others who download the mod.
Many thanks to any who can help
