What do you mean, "i have a version of JASP and JASMP with no disc"?
Do you have a Steam copy? Or do you have a pirated copy?
I believe CD is required to play CD copy of Jedi Academy, this is how anti-piracy system works.
I could tell you how to pass by a protection, but piracy isn't allowed by moderators :(

Anyway,
If you have JA from Steam, you no need a CD.
If you have a legal CD copy of Jedi Academy, you're supposed to have a CD. Use it.
If you have a pirated copy of JA, you're on your own.

Change the Engine to MBII Client in the Settings of your Launcher, and you'll be able to play without the disc.
