Hiya, I'm hosting a handful of MBII servers. All of them are using the same shared game files from a central directory. However, for the past week or two one of them has been reporting server crashes at the end of rounds. Most of these crashes haven't produced crash logs, and running debug mode (developer 1) doesn't point to too much either: an rcon map change from the server, followed by a game shutdown and reloading all assets from a server restart. I had initially thought maybe it was a particular map, but it still happened after removing it from rotation. It largely seems to be happening while being decently populated.

Today, though, one of these end of round crashes did finally create a crash log:

I've reinstalled and updated all MBII files, and swapped to running the more recent mbiided.i386 rather than my own openjkded. As this is the only server doing this (that has reported it to me), I'm a bit stumped.

Something worth noting is that it's running with a hefty collection of siege file tweaks to Legends, including custom characters.

But the crashing issue started becoming a nuisance after patch 1.8. Wouldn't be surprised if said tweaks had something to do with it but, as said, it started happening after this recent patch.

Looks map related - it is to do with ICARUS scripts. The logs you've posted are from a duel map and a cmp map - do you have an example of this happening from a more widely played map?

None at the moment, I'm afraid. Seemed to be happening a lot while trying to change to um_vjun, but unfortunately those were the ones that didn't generate crash logs. Shottyz may have a better idea of what maps they were on leading up to that.

I ran a find all command for crash logs from other servers I'm hosting, just to see if I could find any others with this problem. Found a recent one (July 14) that's calling a lot of the same functions in the stack trace. Different addressing, so probably unrelated, but just in case:
