Well I thought it was time to put my suggestion back out there considering my old posts were lost in the great forum wipe.
1. Shotgun for Bounty Hunters: I was thinking BHs could upgrade their level three E11 into a shotgun for nine to fifteen points depending on how balanced it is. The same way ARC can upgrade their rifles into different types. Before you scream bloody murder and please nerf, remember even on the lowest point cost it's twenty one points for a level three E11 and an additional nine points for the shotgun upgrade meaning it's a thirty point investment minimum. Furthermore shotguns are ammo hogs meaning they will have to sink more points into ammo, likely level three for an additional ten points to remain an effective combatant. That means you're effectively spending half your points to be an effective shotgun user with only forty points left for armor, TD, darts, sniper rifle, and a mid range weapon. I think its doable and will give BH an additional play style other then sniper.
2. Buzz Baton / Forcepike / Electrostaff: Just an idea I've been playing with for awhile. How about a melee weapon that disables attackers? I'm thinking back to the Buzz Baton from JKO. If a enemy is hit by the attack it stuns them for a second or two and they cannot fire just like force lightning. FA only unless you can think of a class it would fit into.
3. Deathstar FA: The rebels already have the disadvantage of being the attacker and without the maneuverability of lots of Jedi to contest the hanger elevator and the side bridges they almost always lose on this map in FA. I don't think I've seen rebels win more then one out of ten rounds on FA while Open is much more even. Maybe just buff the prisoners to be equal to the stormtroopers. Seriously rebels don't need a handicap on this map, it favors imps already.
