[SOLVED] No Class Selection Menu

I'm still new to this game I just downloaded it a couple days ago but whenever I attempt to join a server I am stuck in spectator mode and cannot choose a class, this even happens when I try to host a server. I'm out of ideas and it seems I'm the only one who has encounter this so I don't know if it installed wrong or not.

Can you be more specific, how have you tried to pick a class? It is usually done by hitting the ESC key, and then clicking on join. You should then get the class selection menu there. Are you not seeing these menus?

Oh I found out that I overlooked the 'join' option when you hit ESC, so everything is fine thanks for the help.

This is why we need an ingame tutorial in MBII.

(although lets be honest, most players will just ignore it and play jedi/sith right away)

Everytime I click the join button and select a class and then hit apply it just keeps me in spectator mode
