I’ve actually made a few of my own mixes for MB duels, and timing music to the pace of fights made a big difference. I wanted to get better at transitions and adding tension, so I took some online music lessons at https://artmaster.com and picked up a ton of useful stuff, especially around layering and theme variation. Helped a lot, even with simple edits.
