Minimising the game while in the main menu makes it unmaximiseable

When you alt + tab (minimise the game) while in the main menu (not started playing yet), you can't bring the game back up later. The only thing that appears when you bring it back up is a black rectangle in the upper left corner of your screen. While this black rectangle is there, everything responds as if the game was maximised - when you move the mouse, you can hear the sounds that appear when you hover over a menu item, you can even click the menu items, or exit the game but clicking escape and guessing where the 'Yes' button is. Everything works as if you were in the menu again, except that you can't see the menu.
Note: This bug was observed in the full-screen mode of the game. It appears in all of the sub-segments of the main menu too.

Steps to replicate:
1. Start the game
2. While in the main menu, click alt + tab on your keyboard to minimise the game
3. Bring the game back up (maximise it)
4. Observe the bug that I described

Can't screenshot this.

I didn't think anyone still alt-tabbed this game. Considering theirs a minimizer feature in the options section of the MBII Launcher which has never failed me at least.

I just alt tab in a windowed mode. Has always been my preference.
