MBII saber system compared to Kingdom Come's sword system

I've always thought of MBII having the best melee system in any game. Sabers are just swords really, and the only other game that ever came close was Mount and Blade. But now Kingdom Come has came out and it seems more realistic and in-depth, somewhere between Mount & Blade and MBII. For those who played Kingdom Come, how do you think it compares to MBII's melee?

The Combat in Kingdom Come is more complex than normal hack and slash stuff.

But let's be honest here it just uses stuff like simple blocking and parry mechanics. You can win every fight by perfectblocking while having a slow motion.

Its like a dumbed down version of MB2

As soon as they changed the blocking from being based on direction to just timing they made it too easy. It wouldnt work in a multiplayer setting but the original idea of it would have.

It's a shame they didnt make a multiplayer element to the game. I've played like 40h and completed the main questline and a lot of side quests and now I have nothing to do and I'm also way too OP, killing bandits with a single riposte etc.
