MB2 on Steam

How possible would it be to have MBII be a downloadable mod/full game on Steam? This is just hypothetical, but this could vastly increase our playerbase by releasing OpenJk Along with MBII (Would it have to be Open Sourced?) as a seperate entity on Steam and possibly seeing a strong future for MBII. The only problem I see here is Disney shutting it down and filing a cease and desist. IIRC there were talks about this before, any light to shed on this?

As EA owns the license for SW games, you couldnt publish anything SW related without their approval and no, they wouldnt approve it. I think i got it right.
