Launcher MB2 Launcher stopped working

Hey, I'm experiencing some trouble with the MB2 launcher. Basically when I try to start the launcher it just gives me the "MB2 Launcher has stopped working" and the options to look for a solution online or close it. Now I've tried reinstalling the game and deleting all the files I could find that belong to MB2 (I don't know if that counts as uninstalling but for some reason it wouldn't come up in the "Uninstall or change program menu", so I'm not sure if the uninstall was properly done). Also deleted all the files in "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Movie_Battles_Team.
Tbh I don't know what else to do. pls halp

This is what comes up when i click "View details":

Deleting folder MBII_Launcher didn't work?
When you started expirience this issue?
Did Launcher work before?
Try disabling antivirus.

Yep, didn't work.
The issue started when I woke up this morning, tried to open up the launcher but I got that message. It worked fine the night before, but I wasn't the last one to use the computer so I don't know if someone could've touched something or not
Yeah it worked fine before. I'll try disabling the antivirus and let ya know

I got a bad feeling about this.

Someone touches my shit, I must disinfect it! Then leave threatening notes to the person that touched it.

my brother recieved a fair share of yelling i assure you

Your brother. Well, then, I changed my mind. He was just doing his duty as every brother should.

t(-_-)t

What are the pc specs?
Windows what?
Are you launching through steam?
Does vanilla Ja work?
Ever killed a man?

Some hidden remnants might be working against you. They must be eradicated.
For the Empire.

did this and still the same
You did both? Redownloaded Launcher AND reinstall .NET?

Damn, it's hard...
ok, try this:
One more time, delete these folders:
Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII_Launcher
C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Movie_Battles_Team

Right-click on "Jedi Academy" => Properties => Security => give yourself all possible permissions, including all subfolders.

Turn on anti-virus and perform full scan.
Maybe you even should install other anti-virus software, like Kaspersky or NOD.

Didn't really have the MB2_Launcher folder cos I couldn't reinstall the thing since it won't even open, deleted the other folder.
I checked and it was on total control or somethin like that, about to do the virus scan

If anti-virus found some malware but didn't delete it all, you really need to continue clean your PC and get rid of each and every virus.
Perhaps it's necessary to use another anti-virus.

Last extreme is a reformat which is just a pain in the ass.

Your brothers good.:)
Or very bad. Huhu.

Way back when, this was actually before the launcher, and when I still had an active anti-virus:) my anti-virus blocked MB from functioning. Think this was when they were doing Vortex anti-cheat and I had to manually unblock JA to allow it to execute.

It's been so long but I think most AVs have a list of programs or files its blocked, locked or disavowed like an unwanted bastard child.

:)

Or, there are still launcher settings hidden somewhere in you appdata.
