Technical Issue [Linux] unable to play the game

Hello, what is the proper way to launch MBII 1.4 under Xubuntu 16.04 64bit ? Earlier (1.3.2) i could execute in terminal wine jamp.exe +set fs_game "MBII" and play. Now, since we have anticheat system, i can't simply do that. I'm being kicked from protected servers and asked to keep MB Launcher running in the background. Executing wine MBIILauncher.exe returns some errors and it does not work.
I also tried running game by using openjk: ./openjk.x86_64 +set fs_game "MBII", but i have similar issues as described here (first post) Technical Issue - Running MBII with OpenJK linux; Mod loads, but not totally?

Can you help me ? Thanks

Wow, wait, what? But linux isn't affected... Let me check the code.

Yeah, there's totally check for Windows, which means that files for linux are simply not compiled with the next chunk of the code.

Thank you for your response. When i execute ./openjk.x86_64 +set fs_game "MBII" game starts with basejka menu and when i try connecting to mb server, i'm receiving mismatch error. This is from terminal:

This is clean installation, so don't mind my config. I only applied Patch 1.01, copied mb2 and openjk64bit content to gamedata before running in terminal.

Thanks Lou, i got myself i386 version and tried to join but failed. Same error occurs. Client/Server game mismatch basejka/mb2. Commands i executed:
./openjk.i386 +set fs_game "MBII" +set sv_master1 "master.moviebattles.org"
./openjk.x86_64 +set fs_game "MBII" +set sv_master1 "master.moviebattles.org"
then, after removing all openjk 64 bit files from gamedata:
./openjk.i386 +set fs_game "MBII" +set sv_master1 "master.moviebattles.org"
but with no chance to connect to mb2 server. Am i doing it wrong ?

Check if MBII directory is uppercase. Download the linux launcher, run it and repair install. You should run the launcher with 'mono MBIILauncherLIN.exe'. Then

Hey, i did what you told me to, but it didn't work. Then i removed whole game and reinstalled it, patched, ran linux launcher, let it download whole mod again(complete installation), put openjk 32 bit in gamedata. Executing :
./openjk.i386 +set fs_game "MBII" +set sv_master1 "master.moviebattles.org"
still won't allow me to join server (mismatch error). MBII folder is upper case.

Althought my openjk version is a couple days older.
Is it possible that you have /home/kkona/.local/share/openjk/MBII/uii386.so? What happens if you rename the /home/kkona/.local/share/openjk/MBII directory?

Yes, i have it there, in /.local/share/openjk/MBII/
Now that i renamed MBII to MBI... it starts with mb2 menu and i can join servers now without being kicked. Thanks for spending time studying posted output and pointing out unusual stuff. However

It looks scary, but It's not an error. It just informs you where it searched for uii386.so first. If it doesn't find it in the first place it keeps searching in other directories. You told the launcher to install things in other directory, so you shouldn't override mbii files in .local/...

If you miss your old configs, they were in .local. I should have told you. I hope you didn't delete them.
