Launcher Launcher tries to update every time you open it

Even after having 1.5 installed, the launcher says there is an update each time you open it
Ignore the Spanish
i have tested this myself 3 times already and it always ask you to update it.

Reinstall base game, delete (%localappdata%/Movie_Battles_Team) then download this newest all in one package (3.9GB) and install clean. You can save your settings by doing /writeconfig <file name> and then load them with /exec <file name>. Keep your .cfg file safe.

I'm don't what causing OP's error, but this thing you're suggesting is completely redundant.
Base game has nothing to do with that.
Redundant as well... There should be a way to fix it using repair via Launcher and deleting some files that are already on drive (PatchStatus.xml?).

all i did was repair and no more launcher asking me to update it.

This. Will do a bug fix later.
If for any reason you cant do a repair, delete the file GameData/MBII/PatchStatus.xml. launcher will validate your install correctly after this.
