Launcher Launcher Not Loading Info

Hi,

So I'm looking to update my MB2 via the Launcher, but it won't load the news nor will it said that a new version of Moviebattles is available. I also need to figure out this problem so I can update the server for the clan I'm in. Some help would be greatly appreciated, here is the description of the problem:

Launcher application runs just fine. However, once the Launcher is loaded, the news tab shows blank, with nothing there to see, and pretty much the only thing that I can do with success is hit the Play Game tab. There is still a Read More... link down at the bottom right corner of where the news is supposed to be, and when I click that, an error comes up which reads the following:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Cannot start process because a file name has not been provided.

This just started randomly happening today, I use a Windows 10 Computer and MBII worked perfectly on it from the beginning, this is the first time I'm seeing any sort of issue with the Launcher.

Can someone please help with this? Seriously other people have reported problems after this one and they got responses on them, I have yet to get any sort of support.

I wish I had some ideas about your situation...

But anyway, blank News tab looks like Launcher is blocked by firewall.
Do you have some firewalls? Kaspersky, Comodo, Outpost, Nod32? Remember, some anti-virus software are actually "security suite", which contain firewall as well as anti-virus.
Try disabling completely any firewalls installed.

Speaking of crash log, basically it's only author of MBII Launcher, @LoU, who can deal with that.
But I suggest you redownload Launcher and delete these folders:
Jedi Academy\GameData\MBII_Launcher
C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Movie_Battles_Team
